Cornel West exposes Obama hypocrisy

This man is brilliant.

If you have not heard of him, or not heard him speak before he is very articulate and well read. He knows his stuff.

Everything he says in this video is true.

Obama is a hypocrite. "I swear on a man who believed in peace I will only bomb 7 countries in this term that I serve..."

While Obama may not be solely responsible for the polarization of the country. he has played his part. He has played his part in keeping old wars going and starting new wars.

His hands are not clean, and it seems like he does not intend to wash them anytime soon.

And the fact there is not more people pissed of about the hypocrisy of this situation pisses me off.

I think many people are waking up to hypocrisy in General. Not just Obama's Hypocrisy.

Then again, some people want everything wrapped up into their own nice little package, and expect their President to do EVERYTHING he promised. It took Mr. West 4 years of lies to realize it now? Hmmmm.....

S&F and thank you for posting. It's ironic since I just had a disagreement with a friend about comparing Obama to MLK. I told her to study history. And, that didn't go over well.

My point was that Obama does not embrace the ideals of MLK. Or Cornel West for that matter. I like the fact that he talks about the proper treatment of ALL people regardless of race. As he pointed out, that's what MLK stood for. I think Justice for all in general. WE need good people like Cornel to help make change.

It certainly is ironic. One would think that Cornell West would be FIRMLY behind president Obama
no matter what. They both are cut from the same democratic/socialist cloth, both are eloquent,
intellectual black men of prominence and at least one of them has college credentials...

He does support Obama, but only because he is choosing the lesser of two evils.

He is critical of the actions he takes because it is different from his words. He also gets very upset that nobody pays attention to what has happened to society.

He is always on Bill Maher and I try never to miss it when he is on there.

He was also arrested when attending Occupy Wallstreet and thrown in jail.

A man that will stand for what he believes in, no matter what.

Many could take a lesson from this man.

West is a Socialist, Obama isn't. Supporting social programs and higher taxes on the wealthy does not a Socialist make.

OT: I'm pretty sure West has always been a very strong critic of Obama and has never pulled a punch and that man can be brutal with his words, I love to hear him speak.

Thanks for the video. This is exactly why Obama is so dangerous and why Democrats love him.

Obama can be just as corrupt as Presidents before him. Under Obama the "evil rich" has gotten richer, drone strikes kill innocent children and The Fed is flooding the market with cheap dollars.

All this and more can be shielded by Obama's skin color. This is why his followers put everything in a racial context. Criticize Obama in any way you're racist and as a black man you're an uncle Tom. I really hate this as a black man.

Obama is a corrupt, Chicago Politician yet people treat him like he walks on water because of his skin color. Obama has been a disaster for the poor and the middle class while enriching those who he says needs to pay their "fair share."

Cornel West has been a critic of Obama for a while now. He isn't "waking up", he's been awake.

West is an actual leftist, Obama is not.

A hypocrite is someone like West who proclaims “peace” yet believes it is moral for a government to confiscate wealth from its citizens by the use of force.

There is no true “peace” in socialism.

Income taxes are collected by force. I highly doubt he supports the FairTax.
