(Reuters) - Emelie Olsson is plagued by hallucinations and nightmares. When she wakes up, she's often paralyzed, unable to breathe properly or call for help. During the day she can barely stay awake, and often misses school or having fun with friends. She is only 14, but at times she has wondered if her life is worth living.
Emelie is one of around 800 children in Sweden and elsewhere in Europe who developed narcolepsy, an incurable sleep disorder, after being immunized with the Pandemrix H1N1 swine flu vaccine made by British drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline in 2009.
Finland, Norway, Ireland
As well as the active antigen derived from A/California/7/2009 (H1N1), the vaccine contains an immunologic adjuvant AS03 which consists of DL-α-tocopherol (vitamin E), squalene and polysorbate 80.
Thiomersal (thimerosal) is added as a preservative. Being manufactured in chicken eggs, it contains trace amounts of egg proteins. Additional important non-medicinal ingredients are formaldehyde, sodium deoxycholate, and sucrose.[7]

oh ok, well then that;s fine for us to sacrifice 800 with life long health problems for the sake of the other millions. Yeah no problem. Yea this is perfectly fine. Yea let's go with this. I'm still wondering why you're not the head of the FDA or some other big pharma co with your remarks.
90% of kids with whopping cough, were vaccinated for whopping cough. This tech is still not where it needs to be
Europe's drugs regulator has ruled Pandemrix should no longer be used in people aged under 20. The chief medical officer at GSK's vaccines division, Norman Begg, says his firm views the issue extremely seriously and is "absolutely committed to getting to the bottom of this", but adds there is not yet enough data or evidence to suggest a causal link.

I did think the swine flu thing was a marketing campaign by Tamiflu and wasn't based on a real threat. But we shouldn't throw the baby out with the water and not vaccinate our kids for things like mumps, measles and so on. Those diseases have unfortunately made a comeback in recent years thanks to such conspiracy theories.
