Superficial vs. Thoughtful Reality.

Is reality what it appears to be? Or is it what we conceive out of these appearances?

I think we must admit that the appearance of reality precedes and begets the conception of reality. This implies that appearances and superficiality brings us closer to the truth.

Reality is a signal processed and filtered in the brain and relayed the same way to form constructs in accord with physics and chemistry. Animals process reality in a different way as do insects etc. Everything is filtered and limited on a need to know kind of basis that is right for each and every lifeform.
