Modern Progressive Metal.

I think this music fits perfectly within ATS. A lot of spiritual, space orientated, and just generally awesome lyrics, spacey landscapes, complex instrumentation, it's the perfect form of music.

The Contortionist are a personal favourite of mine, of any genre. The way they transition from hectic to beautiful is something which isn't matched.

If you're not a fan of the vocals, this instrumentation is an amazing listen.

Good stuff, I have always enjoyed heavier music. Not always necessarily for the vocals, they are extremely talented musicians as well. It is truly hard to find raw talent in most of today's mainstream crap that is pushed on the radio.

Astral Body is a great song but I definitely enjoy Silent Flight Parliament, Sun of Nothing. A band that I really think ATSers will enjoy is Hypocrisy, (my avatar) especially with all their conspiracy based lyrics.

Ahh, I love me some metal!!
