So I'm in a chatroom, right? Just chatting normally with people...

Random guy pm's me. This was his private message to me; "You're a moron."

Never talked to this guy before.

So, I responded, "Gee thanks, I love taking what random strangers say about me to heart."

Then, the guy starts chatting on the main screen, where everyone can see him.

"Yall better watch your back! A NWO is coming! LOL!!!"

He knew I was a conspiracy theorist because of things on my profile.

Didn't say anything.

Then, he says; "I bet aliens are responsible for 9/11 too right? You conspiracy theorsists have no shame."

I said, "Actually, I don't really believe in aliens all that much, compared to false flags."

He says; "Yeah right, yall are the ones who believe aliens built the pyramids. LOL"

Then, he continues to diss conspiracy theorists, calling me random names. I tried to ignore him and talk to the others, but I couldn't.

After a while, I said; "Damn dude... did a conspiracy theorist break your heart or something?"

He says; "NOPE! Yall arent worth my time! You guys always exploiting the deaths of kids, yall have no shame."

I'm not gonna post the rest of the conversation, because it's really long, pointless, and annoying. I will say that at some point, I ended up breaking down the entire scenario of how Hitler preformed a false flage on Poland, and how 9/11 was similar to that.

God, I hate ignorant people.

I think you met the dis-info agent...

It's a thief class.. After they pass level 13 they get to think they know the world..

They are just tools.. I have seen some of your posts that make me think you are the furthest from being used as I can think of...

What else should I say? Ignorance is bliss they say... But apparently ignorance isn't bliss enough till everyone else you come in contact with becomes ignorant too.. Otherwise you might wake up to your own pain... (not you, but them, the general you) .

Pain hurts... Therefore the US government is good, and everything is ok.. 9/11 was haters, not high tech criminals.... It's all ok if you don't care..

WAIT..

Do you care? about truth?

I like you.

Thank you for being real.

Even in the best circumstances it's hard to ignore trolls. I've tried it, but somehow they always find just the right button to push. You have my empathy. I don't know what else to say, seeing that you didn't ask for any advice....

You have got to learn to throw them a curve ball from left field that they never saw coming,or just ignore it.
Either way,you win.
Don't feed the trolls!

There are all kinds of people out there, regardless of their beliefs.

However, that guy aside, at least you now know how it is for the general public to talk with conspiracy theorists.
Hope you learnt something.

Or alert us Mods to the issue and we'll deal with it. Replying back in a similar manner will only get yourself in trouble too.

So, If anyone has an issue such as this in chat, just let one of us know. I'm around often and I come into chat a lot too. The same rules apply to everyone else in chat as they do on the boards as well - No one will be openly attacked and last in there just as they won't in a thread.

Let us know about the issues and It can be dealt with properly.

Good advice

But I don't think he was in the ATS chat room.

Just say...

your right..conspiracy theories never are true, politicians never lie, and large corporations really do care about people over profit. Its best to never question anything anyone with authority or money says, because they are all trusting wholesome people. Now, go back to what you were doing..I believe American Idol requires you to call in and vote who had the most glitter on tonight.

The reaction you got in chat room is exactly what the mass media is dissing us all for. They want to shame us, hoping we will turn tail and run back to the herd.

Better get used to it, because I predict an influx of new members to this site BECAUSE of the media who are simply here to discredit anything we say. Paid/ unpaid shills aren't doing enough, so why not brainwash the average Joe Blow to come here and do your work for free?
Too many trolls...not enough bridges.

I have a different take.

Most people who aren't a little interested in "alternative thoughts," have no clue about some of the things he mentioned to you.

My guess. He's secretly fascinated, even if he won't admit it to himself. I'm guessing he's also very young.

Remember how young boys try to get attention? Loudly, in your face, snapping bra straps. Which sounds like he did, only the online equivalent.

Or he could just be a jerk.

I really like this psychology that's being used on anyone who thinks a conspiracy might be possible.

Conspiracy Theorists Have No Shame

That's truly rich right there.

So asking the tough, and sometimes insensitive questions to get to the truth is now shameful. When was the last time a detective, or an agent felt shame for asking an insensitive or brutal question of someone he/she suspected could be involved in a crime? A good detective or agent is a conspiracy theorist. They have to be, in order to imagine how someone might have pulled off a crime they're trying to hide.

Whatever, people like that clown need to continue watching Dora and Barney. Though that may be above their level of analytical thinking.

Sorry I didn't reply right away guys, I'm on someone else's computer... fell asleep last night.

It wasn't an ATS chatroom.

Otherwise, I probrably would have said something to the mods. The site I was on doesn't have mods, or censors... it's free lance craziness.

He wasn't young, he was in his thirties, but he seemed like a child altogether. He actually threw it in my face. "You should be trying to get a degree and actually be useful like I am LOL!"

I said, "Yeah, big tough guy... what would the world do if you weren't trolling in chatrooms at night."

I just wanted to share this experience, I'm sure pretty much everyone on this site has experienced it at some point in time or another. But it's okay, guys... I owned him. I actually had two other people throwing conspiracy theories out there, defending me, saying the other guy was a moron... pretty awesome.

On that site, conspiracy theorists are like sleeper cells... you never know who knows what. It's just a social free-lance whirlpool of people from all over the world.

That, or he's the result of a social engineering push to discredit "conspiracy theorists."
As long as they can keep people memorized enough to continue business as usual, but with current events being so fantastic, people are giving heed to alternative sources of information.
That's why any mention of conspiracy theorists on MSM is never backed up with factual information to discredit them. It's all about how insensitive they are...

This poor fool may be drinking extra large kool aid

What's interesting is that this particular member may have been a "mole."

One of the two chatters who was on my side pm'ed me, saying;

"Be careful talking to him. He's involved in (some organization's name that I can't remember). He's a snitch."

No joke.

I didn't know what that meant, but I've learned after five years on that site not to take people there very seriouely, so I dismissed it. It just occurred to me a second ago, though...

I would expect moles and snitches to be on ATS, but not really on Weird Town.

Very interesting indeed. Especially since organizations require resources... So, either said organization is dedicating resources to combating the proliferation of certain information (i.e. muddy the waters) or this was one zealous member that was pulling out whatever tricks he knew to discredit you (ridicule being the most pathetic last time I checked.)

Nevertheless, I think we MAY be witnessing (MSM talking about consp theorists being kooks and all) phase two of operation "discredit conspiracy theorists," to deal with people questioning the official accounts of reality.
