Update on (UK) MP Sex Ring

In October last year, Tom Watson MP made a claim about an MP sex ring. This was reported on ATS at the time. I thought that this seem to have gone quiet even though he used his parliamentary priveledge to make the claim. But yesterday, the Metropolitan Police believe that there is enough evidence to make further investigation for a MP sex ring for the 1980s.

I am suspicious that the Metropolitan Police have come out so soon and decided that this is a 1980s MP sex ring without doing the proper/full investigation.

Are you meaning that you're afraid that they're not going to be investigating further because it was so long ago that they don't think it's still active or that they know more than they're letting on and dropping the ball on purpose?
I hope they're still investigating. I wouldn't want to think they're being naive or corrupt. There's just too much evidence pointing towards others that may be involved and that the sex ring is still up and running.
