Troll thread for uneducated people to gloat about being uneducated.
FWIW, There are plenty of scholars who claim deep spiritual ties.......There are even subjects devoted to such at Universities.
Maybe you should consider getting an education firstly and then pass judgement as to whether it removed your ability to philosophize spiritually.

I think you misunderstood me. I'm saying that secular knowledge alone is not enough to help someone through mental/emotion suffering, thus it is meaningless to help someone. Secular knowledge with knowledge of the self can go a long way in helping people.

I think that you have pigeon-holed yourself as a loser and you blame your situation on the "smart people" because you are too self centered to accept responsibility for your own actions.
If we look at your statement ....
I think you misunderstood me. I'm saying that secular knowledge alone is not enough to help someone through mental/emotion suffering, thus it is meaningless to help someone.
"...thus it is meaningless to help someone."
Really?
Do you seriously believe that?
Thank Christ/Allah/Krishna/Colonel Sanders that there are still people in the world who think differently to yourself.

Secular knowledge is meaningless(in my opinion) if one has no knowledge about themselves. The secular knowledge in which I'm talking about is knowledge about the material world.
What benefit is it to be a rocket scientist, a doctor, or whatever is regarded as secular knowledge? These people can know everything there is to know and still be miserable. We live in a world where 'education' is pushed but what good is it when the knowledge isn't used in an efficient way that brings a relief of suffering to those in the world? Children are educated to hopefully one day contribute to society but society is a losing battle. Many predict that humans will one day be no more.
Maybe society should be concerned with the knowledge of the self instead of avoiding the most important thing in life.
