This came up in another thread. What kind of people are voting for Bush, as well as what kind of people are voting for Kerry? If it's been done before, or it's in the wrong forum I'm sorry. Just give a brief description including Age, Gender, ethnicity, work experience, and military experience, then tell us who you're voting for please. And no, I haven't discounted 3rd party voters, but this is only supposed to be for Bush and Kerry.

I'll start.

I'm 17, a white male, have a job at a movie theatre, and am not currently thinking of enrolling in the armed forces. I, unfortunately, can't vote, but if I could I'd vote for Bush.

I'm a white male, in my 30's, grew up as a military brat but never served due to a minor medical problem that prevented me from service. I work in an office with computers and software. I'm voting for Kerry.

Im a white male, 14, 15 in December, military brat as well. I work at the Best Buy down the street making 9$ an hour, and try to sell overpriced pieces of preassembled CRAP to the sheeple of this here country. And I do alot of computer work. I attend a catholic school, but am an atheist. If I were old enough I would be voting for Kerry.

White, Virginian, male, 27, Real Estate (yes that's right, I work for Re/Max... punk
)

I served in the US Marine Corps. My job was infantry. I was a Corporal when they let me out 6 months later to go to college. I majored in Diesel Systems Engineering (which is basically Merchant Ship Engine Design for Steam and Diesel).

Got married to a woman with a baby from a real asshole and made him my son. Had a boy so now I have 2.

My wife is due for number 3 in March.

I know you specifically asked it to be the big two, but I am a real person voting Libertarian.

White, Male, Gay, single, late 40s, no military, have worked many low-paying jobs but my one good skill is living on very little, that is how i have saved money dispite that fact, unemployed by choice [plan to stay that way if possible], some college.
Happy on a shoestring.

John F. Kerry of course. And I always vote in elections.

Herman, nothing personal, but i am glad you are too young to vote. Maybe with a little experience under your belt you may take a broader view of the world.

I would actually favor a somewhat more libertarian candidate, but they have to be responsible about the environment, the marketplace [honesty], food and drug safety and keeping the infrastructure in good repair to optimize the economy. Social programs should be kept to a minimum. Research, Science, Math, Engineering, Creative technologies, [education] should be maximized.

I thought I made it clear that I wanted...no cheap shots. I believe that I've studied the issues plenty, thanks. I used to be a liberal, I "Broadened my horizons", and learned to think with my brain and common sense, not with my emotions. I learned that people can so easily be influence by movies, songs, poetry... Many people have grown up with one view, and never even considered the other one. I'm proud in what I believe in, and I don't appreciate you saying things like that.

-By the way, most high schoolers favor Kerry...so don't throw that crap about going with the croud on me.

Well said. I may not agree with all of your opinions, but I appreciate that you have them and express them so well. So with that said:

You have voted Herman for the Way Above Top Secret award. You have used all of your votes for this month.
