In Mexico, hundreds strip off for 'No Pants Subway Ride'

Hundreds of people in Mexico City doffed all but their smalls to take part in the "No Pants Subway Ride" being observed on Sunday, just for laughs, around the world.

It was the third time people in Mexico City lost their trousers and skirts to partake in the underground underwear fun.

Showing off our lighter side to our neighbors and fellow travellers is more than just a way to gain some extra exposure. For one thing, it just seemed like a cool thing to do, another is that we just don't feel we have a bunch of dirty laundry we need to hide. Besides, lighten up, and why carry around a lot of unnecessary baggage anyway? It is really a cool way to share the underground Metro experience in Mexico City.

Men, women, young and old came together this past weekend in our nation's capital to hang out while breezing through the city's underground. This was as much for the rest of the world as it was for ourselves to show that we have nothing to hide and that we can be proud of all we have and that there is, save for a brief bit of modesty, nothing to hide from each other. Perhaps it's just time to show the world what we got.
