Osama's Dialysis Port

Since Osama was our guy and got the best medical care our government could afford, wouldn't we have a record of the serial number of his dialysis port? Didn't the 9/11 attack interfere with him getting a kidney at Cedars-Sinai (?) on our tax dollar?
Anyway, my question was:
Couldn't the SEALs have just ripped out the port, read the number off & said "yes, this is him"?

Yes. That sounds viable. However, what makes it impractical is that HE's BEEN DEAD for some 10 years!

Well, no port if he didn't use hemodialysis. Just a plastic type tube with no serial number inserted into the abdomen is all that is needed for peritoneal dialysis.

ETA: Don't even need a port for hemo....just graft a vein and an artery together in the arm, too.
