Personification also gives writing a bit more of an unrealistic turn, to give life to objects, to make a sort of fiction book. So if you are someone who is interested in writing fiction books and other things related to them, you need to use personification to give it that really good, unrealistic turn.
Another word for comparing a person with an object is Objectification.
