Alien vs. God

The battle is raging. It has for 450,00 years or more. It is a battle for the hearts, minds and souls of the myriad inhabitants of planet earth. It is a battle of Light vs. dark. To lose the fight would mean interminable years under a godless oppressive super state. Choices would be made for us by beings who know best. They would be from far off worlds, already knowing the ways of efficient running governments. They are waiting in the wings for the right timing. Right now, things are pretty much going their way. They don't need to force the issue.
