Once again, Alex Jones proves he is a complete lunatic. He behaved like a child. What an absolutely embarrassing display. I find it sad and demoralizing that there are people out there that thought he did a decent/good/admirable job -- I don't see how anyone other than a complete and utter apologist could come to that conclusion like that. That was just a colossal failure on his part.

Well, it was a cheap shot no matter how you want to see it. Pierce felt threatened and the producers probably told Him what to say CNN are a bunch of shmucks anyways

You might want to take the view that your rights are not up for debate, and that’s fine if you feel that you don’t want to enter into any kind of debate regarding your rights go for it.

If you want to defend the second amendment again, go for it, that is your constitutional right. I am not even going to debate gun control with you

However do you agree that Alex Jone is not the best representative for your political views, don’t you think that the entire show just played to the “crazy gun nut” stereotype and as such his interview was counterproductive to your political ideology.

If he scares your girlfriend then she must not have been out in the world long. What she should be scared of is some rapist coming into HER house and raping her.... leaving her for dead when all she had to do is get her gun out and shoot him between the eyes. This way.... he is dead and not your sweet little girlfriend.

They are trying to take them away.... what part of that is debatable? Notta.... in my eyes.

If someone wants to kill you they will use whatever their crazy mind decides to pick up. Gun or no gun... people will kill because they are CRAZY.

Me.... not crazy and not on meds... Im cool. However you mess with me or mine all the while in fear for my life... I will kill your a$$!! Period. They will NOT take my gun rights away.

Like I said.... this is not debatable for me... so I will leave this thread.... on that note.

I am not debating with you your second amendment rights, so please don’t address my comments with such disgusting hypothetical scenarios, how do you know I don’t sleep every night next to my girlfriend with a AR-15 under my bed. Stop making assumptions.

What I am asking you is do you accept that Alex Jones (the same guy who told us in 1999 that the Russians where invading) is not the best public representative of your political views.

Alex won, but not by the way you're thinking.

Alex surely knew before hand that the "debate" would be carefully scripted in a way to corner him and get him to appear to agree by leading questions. Its an old tactic but extremely effective. If you control all the questions, you get what you want heard and then quickly end the debate. Remember, its not about the truth, its what you can Prove. The MSM only wants selective data shown, not ALL the data. If you have any doubts, see if they include ultra-strict gun law and assault weapon-free Chicago's murder rate in their data. Their goal is not about protecting citizens, its about an agenda to disarm Americans. It was a baited trap from the start.

So I believe Alex went in with a plan to foil the game. He went in and unloaded as many facts as possible that the gun grabbers are trying so hard to hide from the public, then when it was obvious they were on to his plan, to stand up and "drop the mic" ...walking out.

IT WORKED. Viewers received INFORMATION.

For me? Here is the deal.... for me.

There is no debate when it comes to OUR right to bear arms. Period.

Last night should never have even happened but our country has gone to crap and people are running over it just to smush it in even more... its all nasty and stinky.

I couldnt be on the show... I dont care who was on the show... Alex said what needed to be said and he handed it to him like he needed it. Call him a nut... call him scary.... I don't care what you call him but the one thing you cant call him is a coward. He is sticking up for OUR rights all the while we are on the internet doing nothing.

Had he been smiling and all submissive he would have gotten nowhere. Its time for people to wake up and get mad at this crazy establishment called government. The root problem-issue is not guns, yet the media spins for the government. ... I don't.... Alex doesnt either so he and I are on the same team trying to accomplish the same thing. He is not looked at as an obstacle to me... he is trying to get his voice heard for the Americans who are just as angry as he is.

Im not Alex. I don't have death threats all the time. I don't have to sleep with one eye open because I AM NOT RALLYING for the people in the public domain but he is. He was detained before the show. If you think he is lying or paranoid when he tells you he fears for his life, you are mistaken.

It wasn't a debate, it was a monologue.
How can a man who doesn't listen to anyone but himself claim to know any kind of truth? Couldn't even answer one simple question.. absolute fail.

He refused to answer a bait question designed to put a certain model of gun in a negative light. He was correct in refusing to fall for it. I bet you are frustrated about it, aren't you?

Alex got a platform to sell his message.

TPTB want to try to discredit him and CTists as a whole while demonizing gun owners.

TPTB failed by putting AJ on air. AJ is entertaining on purpose.Sheeple are subceptable to entertainment like that. Sheeple thinks he is a joke or crazy or wrong. Get lured in to "disprove" him and his "theories". Then they actually read the government documents like operation northwoods and operation ajax or Gladio and they start to wake up.

AJ suckers alot of arrogant people into the truth movement trying to "disprove" WTC7,fema camps, ndaa or rex84.

I told you one time and and I'll tell you again. AJ is not the truth movement.
He is just the smelling salts needed to awaken people to the truth movement.

You cannot awaken MTV-ADHD sheeple with facts and graphs, logic and reason. Doesn't work.

Something Piers doesn't understand in that respect.

Thank you, but to be clear I am not debating the second amendment, that is not what the conversation you and I are having is about, you have said you don’t want to debate it and I have respect that by not pushing you on it so you don’t need to keep bringing it up.

What I am asking you , and I would live a simple “yes” or “no” answer is if as a advocate of the rights stipulated by the second amendment do you believe that Alex Jones presents as a good ambassador. Or to rephrase the question, do you accept that last night Alex Jones did not give a good representation of the defenders of the second amendment.

I will answer that for her and for myself as a member. No he (AJ) did not represent support for the Second Amendment well. He may have got people's attention given the stage and his antics but he is also seen as being on the lunatic fringe (or at least that is what the Mainstream Media is portraying him as)....and given the connection of Lunatics + Guns = Mass Shootings then it was a net negative (but hopefully, as a consolation, some will wake up anyway).

Alex's behavior was no worse than Morgan's recent interview with Larry Pratt, which primarily consisted of Pierc calling Pratt a moron and stupid a myriad of times.

Pierc routinely has soft spoken gun rights activists like Larry Pratt and John Lott. That only results in Pierc name calling or immediately switching subjects or going to another guest. Frankly I'm glad I actually got to see him interview someone with fire in their eyes. With the reams of excessively polite pro gun activists, It won't be the end of the world to occasionally have someone with enthusiasm.

It's not that I think either "won" a debate. I doubt Piers even thinks of himself as a legitimate debator considering the last time Jesse Ventura was on, he flat out stated he wouldn't answer Jesse's questions tacitly implying the lack of intended 2 way interaction.

do you think Alex was brought onto the show just because they knew he would make an ass of himself? and the 9/11 question at the end was a ploy to discredit Alex Jones completely?

He is right about 9/11 in my mind, but if you go ranting about 9/11 being an inside job on a sheeps network all hell breaks loose lol!

I am not one to tgink Alex came off as crazy, just upset, mad, concerned, passionate, angry. Angry does not equal crazy.

The upholders of the status quo do not want angry people. Some people who are not PTB are too scared of revolution to hear it mentioned.

Some liberals are with him on the gun issue.

Liberals like PM are the crazy ones IMO. They are endangering the success of the party and national security by pushing this.

It was estrogen vs. testosterone...

Piers was like the bitchy wife with snide remarks who brings up the past and Alex was the abusive husband.

nobody won....we all lost
