FPS Russia is from an older version of the Russian border patrol
FPS Russia, the Federal Border Service (Russian: Федеральная пограничная служба, Federal'naya Pogranichnaya Sluzhba), active from 30 December 1994 to 30 June 2003, was headed by a single centralized system, which included:
border control;
foreign intelligence corps;
operational entities engaged in intelligence, counter, operational investigative activities, to ensure its own security system;
border guards and other organs of the Border Service, provided by federal law;
FPS Russia border troops;

That's a nice little theory, but it could also be the more likely reason that FPS stands for:
First Person Shooter - Computer Games
Something that FPS Russia was into before he started on the shooting videos.

Sounds more like suicide to me.
Clearly not hit.

So to recap, he was found on a road, not tied to a chair in his office.
Since he didn't make any attempt to defend himself it's likely that he knew his killer and didn't have his guard up. These types of murders are much easier to solve than stranger killings.
I feel confident they will solve this crime.

-- the victim of a single gunshot wound to the head -- was found Jan. 3 in an apparent homicide at the weapons development and testing facility he operated in Carnesville, Ga.
A more chilling and ridiculous motive being circulated by conspiracy theorists on sites like Above Top Secret and gunconfiscation.com is the idea that Ratliff was targeted by some kind of clandestine assault against the pro-gun movement.
It’s far-fetched, but with the powder keg that Obama’s gun control proposals have stirred up recently (not to mention Alex Jones’ CNN meltdown), it seems feasible to conspiracy nuts that FPS Russia would be high on the hit list if some violent anti-gun movement was in operation.

There must be motive.
The show makes 6 figures off youtube advertisement as a youtube partner.
Kyle Myers kills him for the money?
Possible but unlikely.
He would then need a new means of obtaining class III firearms.
Then again with that much money, he could acquire one for himself and surely dozens already carrying the license would come out of the woodwork getting far less of a cut than Keith for the same work.
I still think someone from the anti gun community may in fact have murdered him.
These people are lunatics that believe people are expendable. That bending the rules is not breaking them.
That only the peasants, you and I typically, must be subject to the laws strictly while they, the entitled yuppies, are entitled to leniency.
Someone he knew murdered him and someone within his social circle has a pretty good idea of who did it.
You and I are nothing but spectators with shot in the dark opinions.
Kyle is however the most likely and most unlikely suspect.
They raided his property claiming they were looking for excess amounts of tanerite.
This is awful suspicious since it follows the murder of his business partner.
Bottom line is if Kyle did it, they will never find the murder weapon.
That gun was shredded into scrap or melted down before the body was even cold.
I would not put anything passed anyone.
Ultimately though, my gut tells me Kyle did it.
