What is your definition of "reality"? Needing a house, a job, a retirement plan? Paying taxes? Saving for college for yourself or someone else?

When you say people "go down" by losing their job, their house, and their spouse, the most unfortunate loss could be spouse and family. As for having or losing a "job" or "house", those are not in my definition of "success" or "going up".

I am asking if Jesus is the only way to "salvation", or the only way to get to the bible termed place of "heaven."

If Jesus is not the only way to "heaven", why are believers in Christianity so set on "converting" people to their religion?

We wish to put some enfaces on how you interpret: "Jesus is the way". We understand that confusion comes about because One does not understand (yet) that most "things" in this context are not to be taken literally.

"Christianity" is a religion, my friend. We ask that you "look into" what your own understanding is of "religion".

Would a young soul question it's own progress if it was in fact "young"? However, one young soul may be "younger" than another.

We are all "young" in terms of the One, for it is infinite. However, in the manner of which you speak, we suggest YOU truly look within yourself, and analyze your current belief systems, thought processess on a day to day then minute to minute basis. What you learn from there will help you "gauge" where you are in your spiritual development.

For all YOU know, "I" could in fact be someone already in an institution, fat old man with no friends, crazy hoarder in his barred up room, government spy, etc. etc. etc... or, I could just be exactly what it is I am .

My posts on this forum are for anyone to reply, and I try to thank people every time for their reply because many do not reply... so thanks!

I started to question most everything about life (that I know/understand) once I gained a new perspective by moving to the middle of nowhere, in a mountainous forest region, away from any city. In my city life before I had feeling of dependence and helplessness as most people in the "machine" are taught as the only way to life.

After a couple years away from "civilization", I can see how most "civilized" people don't even know what they are eating or drinking, let alone how to make food or find drinkable water for themselves, for "free".

Point is, with Christianity, is that I feel most "Christians" are brainwashed into believing that "Christ" is the only way to an afterlife in heaven.

1. The verse mentioned before is, to my knowledge, Jesus' only mention of him being a form of salvation/
2. His disciples that knew him when he was alive said he was the way to eternal life (John 3:16)
3. Paul, who never knew Jesus in life, is credited to writing nearly half of the new testament, including revelations. This sticks out as a warning as well.

You are correct that I should look into my own understanding of a religion, but I am having too much fun and enjoying life a bit too much to be tied down by any slave-like behaviors. I respect the Earth, my neighbors, and follow the general rule: do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Pretty easy for me, and being content with what you have helps a LOT too.

I choose Christianity in particular because that is the religion I grew up with, but have these serious questions that are not getting logical answers that add up for me personally (which is probably true for other organized religions that I haven't looked into too deeply.) =D

Do not get me wrong and think I am debating you, I have not said whether I agree or disagree with your understanding of who, where and what we are, just asking questions to catch the same train of thought you are on and see if your logic and reasoning can handle some simple questions.

I say this due to my two favorite paragraphs from your OP

Our understanding of the context your question lies in, is "sound" at it's core. We ultimately understand that we are a part of some sort of collective source. When you speak to 'me', you speak to consciousness of a soul that has possibly lived on this Earth for thousands of your years. We say "possibly" because even we do not know that information, but we continue to seek more knowledge everyday. It is very possible that we were not of this planet, but we came back to be reincarnated to help (again, this is not completely understood). However, we now must learn as all lifeforms of this Earth must, we were placed in the maze the moment the veil was again laid.

To our current understanding, which is filtered by this instrument, we are in this reality to help other-selves; while also helping "our"-self. (This is what the people of the Earth should be doing). If one understands this "movie" analogy we used earlier; then it should make perfect sense with what we are saying. The actors in this movie do not know they are in fact actors, however 'I' do. So, I know see things for what they are..while everyone else just "plays their part".

The knowledge of any previous life(s) on this Earth, or any other Planet/Galaxy/Reality is currently unknown to us,but we currently seek this information.

Think of it more of a subconscious asking. The "answer" is presented by the actions taken by your consciousness when subconsciously approached by our subconscious message.

i dont like trying to see. i enjoy seeing, as it were

walk over to somewhere you're at peace with minimal human interaction, and sit down and concentrate on not thinking about anything. ive always gotten the best answers to my questions by doing that.
