I listened to the EVP before reading the thread. I heard "I miss my dad."

Then I read the thread. I listened again with some of the other suggestions in mind. I could certainly hear the dirty one loud and clear too! It's amazing, the power of suggestion!

I unfortunately read most of the posts before listening myself so when i heard "i miss my dad" it was so clear cause it was already forced in my head.....

However people are missing the tiny first word that comes before it all...sounds like maybe "look"...this is only in the original recording and not the modified one that was done on dropbox.

No im just trying to find out if it could any way be different than i miss my dad....just to play devil's advocate with the common and obvious saying...how about...

Look, I miss my ..... dex, death, desk..now that I think about it it is saying I miss my desk! Listen to it! There is another syllable after or something...it cant be dad unless it was da ask...listen to the hiss or whisper at the end after "dad". Its desk!

I heard something vulgar until i stupidly read the posts and now i also hear

"i miss my dad" or, the one i'd like to believe "i'm with my dad"

I don't know if reading the posts MADE me hear this... it's funny what the mind can do...

Interesting, never the less.

After making sure I had not succumb to the powers of suggestion and hearing "I miss my dad", I tried to relate more to the tone of the EVP's speakers.

In EVP#1, I heard a rather lustful "attitude" to a speaker that sounded like an imp. I heard: "Umm...I would f*** her."

Then, in EVP#2, a female voice saying: "Umm?...right there" not pertaining to the first, mind you, but rather 'set it right there', or 'look it's right over there by that stone'.

And in EVP#3, the tricky one...another, younger sounding female speaker: "inaudible...this is it...honest, I was... inaudible" and she sounded like she was made a little upset by something, or at the loosing end of and argument.

Great post, though. It's nice to get away from the doom-and-gloom, or a good post in which everybody ruins by throwing common conspiracy theories down at like vomiting robots.

I think EVP #1 is saying "I'd think again", or "I think I can".

Where and how did you record these?

EVP #2 I think is saying "uhh, right there!", then it sounds like some one was about to say the bad word for poop.

Just from the intotation of the voice, sounds like Spanish, not English, which would further explain the varied responses as people try to make out english words from another language. If anyone is a native speaker in Spanish it would be interesting to hear their take on it.

Well I hear something very similar to 'I'd like to [fill in rude word indicating copulation] your [fill in word describing one's behind]'. Hope I have described what I heard according to ATS guide lines

Sorry but I most certainly don't hear I miss my dad.

I bought an app for iphone called sleep talk. It records you snoring, I wanted to proove to my husband he snores SOOO loud. Ended up with a bunch of EVP. Very clear. Guy talking to me, and me responding in my sleep to his talking! No one was home, husband not home til 4 am, it recorded at 1 am, and in a spanish voice.

Another time got someone talking in another language. I did my best to spell some of the words and put them in a translator and found it to be ARABIC with the guy saying " See you soon baby" That was the one I was talking back to in my sleep! Freaked me out and I never used that app again !! LOL

Ha ha what a story, didn't even know these apps were around. But maybe somebody else you know can use it and then you can let us know what happened.
Give my regards to the Arab guy

It sounds to me like a woman saying "I will fight your a**". I'm not too good at guessing someone's age by their voice but I'd guess late 20's to early 40's, that's a big enough gap to be comfortable with. I also haven't looked at what other people have guessed yet. I'm interested to see what you, the OP, think it is.

I read this a few times and each time lol at the first line. Am laughing now as I type this. I wonder how long she was waiting to say that. I once walked up to Gandhi's grandson and said "Put up your dukes, Gandhi" just to say it in context.

...You tried to pick a fight with one of Ghandi's descendants? Shame on you!

There recordings aren't nearly clear enough to say anyone here is wrong or right. It's an exercise of futility, I think.

This is quite interesting how the majority of us are hearing something different. It's also interesting how some of us can't make out the third EVP but some other can make something out of it.

You probably shouldn't have told us the question you asked in the cemetery because it could change how people perceive the recordings. However, I think most of us listened to it before reading any of the posts. Interesting experiment and fun at the same time.

Now I'm starting to hear "I miss my dad." But that is what has been suggested, so its easy to hear that. My original thought on the woman's voice was something like "silence again." But that's not a message to pass on!

So, there you have it, or not.

peace,
AB
