It's free, and legal. It's also huge and full of good rock and roll. Some is metal, some is not, it's kind of all over the place, but in a good way.

My band is on it with a song about galaxies eating eachother.

I haven't gotten through all of it, and what I like most might not be the same for you. HOWEVER, I really enjoy "Papa was an alligator," and "Hail to the River Gods" so far. Those are the ones that have stood out the most for me.

My band has Astro Cannibalism on it, if you want to listen to that one.

I listened to all three songs you suggested: "Papa was an alligator," "Hail to the River Gods" and "Astro Cannibalism".

Unfortunately, this is way too HEAVY for me.

At least I had an open mind, and tried out the songs.

The only heavy metal songs I like, are ballad like:

Metallica - "The Unforgiven", "Nothing Else Matters", "Until It Sleeps"
Guns and Roses - "November Rain", "Civil War", "14 Years", "So Fine", "Don't Cry"
Collective Soul - "The World I know", "Shine"

This is as "heavy" as I can go.

The above songs by Metallica, Guns and Roses, and Collective Soul are GREAT favourites of mine.
