i think this is the right forum to ask this because is an off topic discution

last night i was thinking about doing a thread about a strange video i saw about 6 or 7 year ago but the problem is i can't find the video any where on the internet not even any information about it.
so i'm asking you guys to pls help me in this quest to find the video. i had the video in my old pc but sense the hard drive died i just sold the parts and discard the hdd. :/

im going to give all the details from what i remember about the video:

it as in a desert i'm guessing it was in Egypt and a group of people(both genders) dressed like Muslims others dressed like western people,the cameramen was walking with them to a rocky path or small rocky hill and they pass a line like "police line tape" and entered in a circle formation im guessing it was carved in stone when the night fall a really bright light went in they direction one of the muslin guys fell on is knees with the arms open praying something there is a bright flash the camera falls on the flour and everyone disappears.
it was an amateur video and had no sound.

if someone remembers that video or know where to find information about it pls let me know, thanks

if it helps it was downloaded from "kazaa" probably most of you don't remember that program.

at least give me same ideas where to look, please. i just run out of ideas.

Well i cant help you with finding the video but your story made me curious so please let me know when you got it.

I havent been able to locate that video either. But it could very well be a hoax. Lots of people do make hoax videos. Why? I dont know. Boredom maybe. If you do locate it, please link it for us.

If I remember well, it was soviet agents, that had learned in the 60s that aliens would be there, somewhere in Egypt at a given date... They were never seen again.

Was it a hoax? I don't know. What was the video?... hmm I would prolly have a hard time finding it...

PS: I think they were in the region where the 2 reporters found hieroglyphs showing what looked like an helicopter and what people called the "Millennium Falcon". Was it Abbydos?

I remember the authorities didn't want tourists to go there because there were rebels killing them.

EDIT: It was in 1999 or around that time, if my memory is good.

yes.. i'm remembering now it was something about the authorities didn't let no one go to that site for same reason but i remember the footage was really realistic..

grrrrrrrr...if i could find the video again to discuss the footage it would be awesome.

ps: but i think im (not shore) it was in the mid 80's

Tried a little bit of a google... cannot find the video - but I believe here's a video where they're discussing the video??? Sorry, my sound's currently off, so just got the images to go by. Forward to about 2:40 to see if it's the correct one they're discussing. Maybe you can find the one you're looking for via some info from this one... if it's the correct one they're discussing in the first place. Hahahahah! Supposed to have taken place 23rd of April 1985.

yes is there and the story is also there but i think the original video is not in there but im still watching.
