What does any of your snide commentary have to do with 2012?

The point is that 2012 was a hoax. It preyed on people. It was used to take money from the gullible.

All you do is tell others what to do. Why not do something to change the world? So far you have done zip. You've made no mention of any useful or good you've done.

Stop the whining and do something.

Change does not come from stupid hoaxes like 2012. It comes from people committing themselves to help others and make the world a better place.

Where does this totally wacko notion come from? Where do you get off claiming that people that were duped by 2012 charlatans get something bad for being wrong? They lost time and money.

2012 was anything under the sun. To characterize it as peace and prosperity is baloney. There was plenty of doom porn. People were fed more of that than the ascension and other malarkey.

I concede the case. In many ways, you are a better man than I am, it seems. But I stand by my assertion that the failure of monumental change in 2012 was due more to the spirit of the people than to the fabric of fate.

2012 was a hoax to steal money from the gullible. The hoaxers and charlatans stated anything that brought in bucks and much of what they stated was about doom.

You have been trying to be a revisionist of what 2012 was about from the start. It was more doom than ascension. It was about fear mongering and when that was obviously false there was a late effort to switch to some sort of galactic easy button for the gullible to push and get ascension and superpowers and free everything. 2012 was about people getting destruction or glory for free. It was aliens, ancients gods, galactic planes, alignments, torsion fields, and all sorts of other rubbish that would give people whatever they wanted with no effort. Sorry, doesn't happen.

Well I just bought a few Kindle books.....

But really I saw next to no end of world stuff. Of course I wasn't on ats then. There was a song when I was a kid by the Fifth Dimension called Age of Aquarius. They weren't singing about the freaking Myans. There was something called Harmonic Convergence 30 years ago that acknowledged 2012 ascension. Not everyone involved were crooks and thieves. Yes it was a monumental fail but it also had a lot of good people behind it.

The harmonic convergence was a while back. I recall it because I kept bumping into people in places like Cape Split in Nova Scotia who were into it. That was another of the spiritual events that is now mostly forgotten. Thanks for reminding all of us about that.

I wanted to add that I don't think it was only hoaxers and fraudsters peddling the ascension scenario but from my impression it was lots of well-meaning genuine but "wrong" people who would have loved to see the world get better in one fell swoop so to speak...

I have no experience with any of the other "2012 schools of thought" so I can't comment on them.

OP, what harm did anyone who believed the world would end on Dec. 21st, 2012 do to you? Are you personally effected by a suicide of a friend or family member who was duped into believing the world was going to end? Were you convinced to give your belongings to some person because the world was going to end? Are you just bitter? Get over yourself and stop picking on people who you think are less fortunate in the intelligence category than yourself, because honestly to NOT question or ponder is what brought us into our last World War. In essence, stop typing, and destroy your keyboard, your words are in bad form.

Also, for your information before you flame me for being a "Doomsdayer" I never believed the Mayans predicted the world was going to end, I believed that it could be the end of an Era, and I was right, it was the end of the Excuse Me Era in the WWE.
