i am a new member that wanted to get an avatar. i have been a lurker/follower and have seen many cool ones. i thought hey what the heck see what they can do for me. no expectations. i was not prepared for the response i got. i wanted to give a shout out of thanks to all that participated in trying to help me.

special thanks goes to SloAnPainful, don't let the name fool you. they were not painful at all. very patient with me, and very helpful. thanks.

this group is very talented and were all contributors. not any less thankful to them.

at some point i will use an avatar designed by all of them. they were all so nice. and jumped right on it. i really did not expect this to happen as fast as it did. the attention was overwhelming actually. it helped to restore my faith in humanity. i recommend the experience to anyone.

i am certain that there are many more in the avatar thread that are talented and just as nice. these are the one's that responded to my request.

Agarta did mine from two separate pictures and added the tornado and the house. And the grizzly lasers.

Awesomeness is happening on the avatar thread indeed.

And yes, extremely friendly. Which is a breath of fresh air from many forums here on ATS.

Glad you made the journey over to that thread. It's like going to an Avatar Gallery, with the Artists on hand to create eye candy just for you.

They made the one I'm wearing now, and all the avatars in my closet.. So much talent, from so many good hearted people!

well i am trying to work out some kinks in my signature avatar first, but i will have it up asap.

There are several more members in that thread besides the ones you named too. They're all awesome, and I very much appreciate the upgrades they did for me. Texan made me one I haven't used yet. Saving it for a special occasion. But the one I'm using now was in the shop twice. Kinglizard added some color, and Justmike added the MIB.

Looking forward to seeing yours.

yes indeed. my signature is an avatar. it was originally shaped to fit the other area and i asked if it could be stretched for the signature. so i am trying to decide which one to go with on the side. they are all so good but i don't want to clash.

i did the same just now destiny. i am not sure but i think you were the one that suggested this to me in my introduction thread. or at least the one i asked. it was dirtdonkey that pointed me there. either way thanks to you both. was a very cool experience.

I am still learning it's the others that make the magic. Like another poster stated, there are many others in the thread as well.

It's a awesome thread and it's my pleasure to not only be a part of it, but to help everyone I can.

Talented group of folks, friendly and kind too. Wonderful asset for the members of ATS. I like to visit several times a day, it is a treat to watch the creative process of each artist, and see them collaborate at times to get exactly what the member wants.

stated one more time. i never knew how that process worked until yesterday. that thread is the perpetual thread and it is about avatars. go figure. i was and am amazed. not the place i was expecting at all. i guess i need to venture more into other areas of this site if i want to find threads about something beside the topics that crash the topic screen. you can see from the lack of response here that few people were really all that interested in this topic.

I wish i could post this 10 times.
