Sandy Hook / Narrows School connection?

This school district is taking extra precautions because they found connections between the mention of their school and the Sandy Hook mention in the latest Batman movie.

Giles County closes schools Wednesday, alerts parents of website post concern

The Giles County Sheriff's Office tells me that a conference call was held this afternoon between the sheriff, county administrator, and the superintendent.

Based on the information from State Police, county leaders decided to close all schools tomorrow. It will be used as a teacher workday instead. According to the 2012-2013 school schedule calendar, students and stff were supposed to return on January 2nd.

The sheriff's office reiterated that it has not received any specific threat to any Giles County schools. The closing decision was made as a precaution.

I have no idea if this is real, but I thought it was interesting enough to discuss. Is this school a possible target for another shooting, or this is coincidence/overthinking?

And I wonder what "website" they are discussing, hmmmm. *wink*

Wow. Talk about an object lesson in how our family gossip can effect others.

Personally, I think it's a big coincidence (the batman angle), but I'm glad the schools are taking it into consideration.

The way I read it, it seems like the school is setting precautions for the chance that a wacko will read the prediction from that website and act upon it. Not so much that it's part of some grand scheme, but that (unstable) people like or unlike the person that found that connection will try to gain fame from a copycat shooting.

Bottomline: not a conspiracy. Just bracing for the inevitable crackpot.

Yeah I tend to agree. I think it's overthinking but good enough to take seriously for the sake of safety.

But I'm pretty sure that "website" is ATS... they're watching us!

The next strike zone on the map is “NARROWS” and just on a hunch I entered “NARROWS SCHOOLS” into GOOGLE Search and this is what I discovered. Narrows Elementary Middle School and Narrows High School, located in Narrows, Virginia. This made me cringe when I saw a match and I hope there is no relationship to the map and another school massacre. I hope the professionals in law enforcement read this post and take the appropriate measures to protect the innocent, young and old (just as a precaution).

Nope, didn't think so.

I would say Narrows is the safest place in the world.

Narrows is only 10 -15 miles down the road from Virginia Tech.
I can see why they might be a little worried given recent history.

Yep. Probably just part of the delusion shared around here that makes many feel ATS is special when it really isn't. It's just one of many.

Well, then next we have to look at Upper West Hill, in Strike Zone 3. If you search for Upper West Hill, you get listings that primarily are located in NY. Nothing that particularly stands out. Just NYC.

Next would be Strike Zone 4... It happens to be written directly over Harlow Park. Which is located in Littleton, Colorado. Or if you want to go with written cities nearby, then we are looking at East Park Side (a development project in Philadelphia), Central Heights (a High school in Kansas), or possibly Cobble Hill (Also in NYC, and there is also a Cobble Hill Cinema in Brooklyn, NY).

Moving on to Strike Zone 5. West Chelsea Hill. There is a Chelsea West Hill Methodist Church in Vermont. Or.... there is a West Chelsea school that was just built in Virginia, called the Avenues. If you look at the words West Chelsea Hill - the Avenues are written underneath the word HILL.

I will agree that it is incredibly strange there is a connection to the Batman shooting and Sandy Hook on the gotham map. It's honestly actually very very creepy. But I don't think the map is going to show the next shooting. I think, if anything, Sandy Hook will. If it really did, I think the map pointed to Sandy Hook. Now what does Sandy Hook point to?

They probably got that information by reading conspiracy theories here on ATS .. I still fail to see realistic link between the recent Newtown shooting and the batman film aside from a town called Sandy Hook on a map.. which is weak at best since a number of Sandy Hooks exist..

So my thought again is that someone picked it up from ATS and someone took it WITHOUT the necessary grain of salt.

it's both, I live in the next town over. sandy hook is a tiny part of newtown
