Decade-long Lurk, Finally Jumping In

Hello ATS!

I started looking at this forum back in the 7th grade when a friend of mine turned me onto the UFO information here. I can barely remember it, but the forum looked something like this when I first arrived:



I was accessing this website over my grandmother's 600 MHz HP Pavilion desktop with a 28 kbs dial-up modem... and it was up hill both ways.

It's good to finally be part of the great discussions here. I've already begun diving into circular religious arguments and then I noticed this introductions thread... so, here I am.

Oh, and about my avatar; it's not an indication of gender. I'm actually a heterosexual guy who really likes Isis. I'm not really sure why, though. She did some bizarre things to the corpse of her dead brother-husband, Osiris. (Read the legend, if you're curious about specifics.) I guess I'm attracted to women who aren't easily understood. lol

svmpua: Thanks for the advice... those debates can be frustrating. I'll try not to get in too over my head. Still, it is fascinating and kinda addicting to see how the discussion plays out. So far, the conversations have remained fairly civil. I find the crusading members to be the most fascinating. I wonder "If I confronted these people in real-life, would they still be so strong in their opinions?"

Either way, it's fun.

Leleu: I have heard of that show in passing, but I think it was made way before my time. From what I understand, DC Comics has introduced Isis into the Wonder Woman universe as a new character. Maybe we'll start seeing more of her; beyond the subtle Illuminati symbolism, that is.
