Well, lucid dreaming isn't just about control, because you can't always steer them the way you want. I think it is more about the understanding that you know you are dreaming. This knowledge is important in a dream because if you are aware that you are dreaming and can't change it, it seems to mean more, like you are MEANT to see certain things in the dream. Do you understand what I mean? Also, when you are seeing things in a lucid dream that are illogical and know you should not be seeing them, you usually are able to alter the direction of the dream to make it make more sense. When you can't and are stuck on something, despite knowing "it can't be real" or "this is just a dream", it could mean more.

Myster You need to manner up or start getting back on topic with the OP, You claim you are abiding by the rules in the thread by "voicing your opinion" and you are not doing anything wrong, Well first off you should fine some manners & be aware that new members join this thread to share there experience, It certainly does not give ATS a good image having a new member create there first thread and share an experience they had and some person "YOU" comes along and start blabbering on about "people like you need to stop fear mongering other people"
Voicing your opinion does not mean calling them out... Look what the Forum mods did! they removed your post!! why?? because you had no manners towards a newb that made his first thread.
Back to the thread...
Hello Mindless1980,
I've had a dream about the moon crashing into earth before, it was pretty insane actually because i felt myself jolt up outta bed, that moment when you imagine yourself falling but then you jolt your body.

Yes, my daughter had a dream of "stars" falling from the sky. She has only had 2 dreams that were not of deceased people (stars falling from the sky) and an earthquake in Southern California. She had both within a week of each other.
Earthquake dream thread
That is all I know of, she doesn't know about asteroids /meteors, so I was thinking this was the only way she could describe it.

I really enjoy reading about other people's dreams, but I think the only one capable of interpreting it is the dreamer. That being said, I'm also going to suggest that the majority of 'disaster' dreams denotes to some drama in the dreamer's personal life and not geared toward the greater society.

Hi Sled! Thanks for posting on my thread.
If you have any idea where your friends posted, could you share it here? I'm really interested in their dream.
Thank you again for replying.
Happy New Year to you!

I have had these dreams.. And a vision of something like a burning mountain falling into the sea..
It could be a meteor.. Or it could represent a nation burning amongst the sea of nations... (mountains=Governments in dream symbols... The sea=Nations or people..)
Or it could be a meteor..
