Yes, He is. He also believes in the St. Malachy prophecy. The anti-pope will come to pass and Christ will come again. We all have our jobs to do

Who says that it has to be an anti pope? These prophecies may have been twisted over the ages. Man is of flaw and all he touches becomes flawed. No matter how good things are when man touches it turns to dust. Maybe it's an anti-preacher or anti world leader? Something to think about

Unforntunately I was wrong on this prediction. We could have used Pope John Paul II for another year.

You said this like six months ago. Despite being a year off you were only 3-4 days from the right date. Thats a pretty good estimate if you ask me.

lol that would have been amazing had i said this year! I didn't really believe it would happen anyways, it was just me taking St. Malachy's pope prophecies way too far.

The pope has died.

I see little compassion, and thin love.

I wonder.!

That isn't what I meant by it. I deeply care that the pope has died.

it is sad, even tho im not catholic or anything, i still understand what he meant for many people and the religion itself. Its time for a new pope anyhow, a fresh new start, picking up where john left off and adding to it, like a good person would.

EDIT: Did he have a son? if so, scince he was such a good pope, do i smell a Pope John Paul III?

I was thinking the exact same XD

Apart from being the wrong year, the date for the prediction is DAMN close to reality. And seeing when the pope started going in and out the hospital, at the time of the prediction, he prolly would have died at the exact data predicted if it weren't for modern medicine.

yes the guess was extremely close, however, not only was the day wrong, but so was the year. And it was only a guess, based off of something else, so i would disregard it!

Excellent prediction- one year off even happened to the best of the prophets.

It doesn't work like that...

John Paul II wasn't his name, it was his papal? name. Meaning his father wasn't John Paul I, the pope who first used the name "John Paul" was John Paul I.
I'm not sure exactly how they come up with the names....

you guys are giving me way too much credit! I wasn't divinely inspired to say that, the fact of the matter was that the pope was sick already at the time, and in context, we all knew he would die soon, i was completely off. It is not like i predicted this back in the 70's, 80's, or even 90's. If at those times, i would be amazed myself, however, it isnt, it was 6 months ago.

I discovered that on internet.. just have to dig and search with the right keywords , its logical to me too.. especially with the malachy's prophecies.

Just a note on the names, there is no law designating proper names which means that technically any name is possible except for Peter which is sacred. They usally pick their names based on a favourite saint or pope ahead of them Pope John Paul I was preceeded by Pope John, and Pope Paul. (Which numbers i'm not too sure) And John Paul II was preceeded by John Paul I. In an interesting side note when John Paul I picked his name he was the first to use a double name which some have likened to the fact that he was met with early demise, however I guess that JOhn Paul II has put that to rest by showing that not only can you be the second to have a double name but you can also have the third longest reign as head of the Roman Catholic Church.

I guess I was right. By the way, your prediction was way off. Better luck next time.
