Obama Aging So Quickly

This is pretty normal, Tony Blair for example also aged very quickly one he became PM, grey hair seems to be the easiest thing to spot with this and is also linked to tress. Similarly with soldiers who go to war when they are yound often age incredibly fast as well, some after just a couple of years seem to have ages 3 or 4 times that much, probably due to the high stress involved. Being president in this climate must be a very very stressful job indeed.

OP seems like a troll... "Why do people like him?" is a question I would expect from a 1st grader.

I think that many of the rest of us are aging just as much, if not more. We are under equal, if not more stress with him as Commander in Chief. We worry about yet another sacrifice of individual liberty at the altar of collectivism.

when he was first elected for his first term they did a graphic rendering of how he would age after 4 years due to the stress of the job. I think he turned out much better than that.

I agree re they all age. It's called stress. I believe they're figureheads, still they clearly feel stress in the Whitehouse. Just hearing what they get to hear must be frightening enough.

First - the campaign photo is [shocker] photoshopped to make him look gooood

Second - the photo taken in direct sunlight shows [shocker] squint lines and shadows and more white hair.

I, for once, don't see a conspiracy here re aging presidents per se.

But the hair stuff is kind of cool when you think about it. We have such amazing biofeedback loops. If I said to you - I give you 4 years to turn your black hair white, most would say that's impossible and involuntary. Clearly it isn't impossible, so the question is can we do it voluntarily? Can we prevent or reverse it?

Just interrupted sleep and lack of sleep will age a person fast. So will being indoors in an office all day long and I don't begrudge Obama going golfing at all. Everyone needs the change of pace and outdoor activity that that would offer (remember W's 'brush clearing'?) He's still fully hooked up to the White House communications grid no matter where he goes. As far as W having a harder day of it, the man was famous for not reading his presidential briefings, but having some intelligence agent brief him on it. I doubt he ever read anything, which would have made the day go a lot faster. Maybe Obama's upstairs in the residence having breakfast with his kids and reading up on background material, which takes time. Not every minute needs to be spent signing bills and in meetings. And if W was so busy-busy, how come he managed to F up the country so well?

Interestingly, if you go over pictures of Romney during the campaign, he was absolutely dying his hair, too. Look at closeups, he's got white roots that mysteriously never grew out into white locks except at the temples, for that 'patriarch' look.

Saint Ronnie must have had his hair done, also. That man was like a wax dummy.

Being the leader of a nation must be very stressful; thats why they age so fast, it takes a physical and emotional toll on a person.
he has to deal with politics, Government secrets, the millitary, the economy, social programs, Foreign relations,

He has to deal with the accidents that happen,
he has to deal with the mistakes of previous government officials, as well as try to please the public when he cant please everyone.

He has to be addressed everyday on up to date matters and try to make his best decisions about them.

not only that but hes just a human like the rest of us and has his own personal things to deal with as well,
he might even have to make sacrifices and decisions that none of us would want to do.


Hes probably trying his best and I respect Him.

I know alot of people might not agree with him or his policies but i dont think those people would be able to do a better job than him.
