Loud huming noises at this very moment, southern Louisiana.

Hey everyone,

So I went to bed around 1:00 AM central time, and in the past 20 minutes I woke up and noticed a loud pulsating humming noise.

It sounds like deep hum, that pulsates twice. The noise gets louder on the second pulse and dissipates gradually, then repeats.

It's a noticeable two pulse frequency... Please tell me I'm not going insane?

This is in the Baton Rouge area...

EDIT: Third recording at 320 AM Central, you can definitely hear it if you turn your volume up... Listen to the deep-low frequency humming.

I can still hear it, after my computer being on and cat puking on my floor. It's a deep humming noise.

It's weird because it seems familiar, but it's not "normal" at the same time. I can hear it pulsating, and on the second pulse it "climaxes" and dissipates and it repeats.

One of my cat's is throwing up in my room as I type this.

I looked outside and it's semi-overcast. I'm in my boxers, I don't even care but I'm going outside to see if I see anything.

I dont have a compass...

I went outside and I can definitely hear it. It's a two pulse humming noise, that climaxes on the "second" pulse. It's been persistent for the past 30+ minutes.

I live in the Baton Rouge area....

I'm very serious guys, I have no idea where the hell this noise is coming from.

Can you capture and upload a recording of it since it is still going on?

As far as what I can see outside, it is somewhat cloudy and that's about it. Temperature wise, it's chilly but not too cold since I went out in my underwear. I can still hear the humming from within my room.

Is it a low frequency? Any heavy continuous low frequency sound can potentially cause nausea in animals or people; I know it can have that effect on me.

Are you near any industrial or military facilities? Airports?

Can you put this on a map? Don't have to give away your exact location, just wanna know what 20mi area this is in.

It's definitely low in frequency. I just stepped outside and recorded 2 minutes form my iPhone. I'm gonna upload it to my computer right now.

What's weird is that it doesn't any sound louder outside as it does in my house.

When i hear about these sounds in the sky..

I live in the Baton Rouge area, the only military/aircraft facility is the Baton Rouge Metropolitan airport that also supports the National Guard and Reserve Marines.
