NW Ohio here....

no snow for Christmas, but today we're expecting 4-8" possibly more if the
storm shifts.

Glad I'm off work this week.

West TN started snowing in the middle of the night so I guess we have a somewhat white Boxing Day. Really cold here today but I'm off from work and have been un-decking the halls and cleaning and now relaxing a bit

Just checking back in on the day after Christmas. Well, the news had talked and talked in the week prior about White Christmas to come and how ..a few days prior..it was 100%. No question. A white one to be had by all here.

Not one flake. Not one drop. Nothing by miserable COLD wind that bit anything exposed and got the rest just a moment or so later for getting through clothing.

I swear, if they say heat wave for Christmas, I'll start waxing the toboggan and breaking out the Snowman molds. If they say Snow? I guess we better have tan lotion and t-shirts ready.

Someone remind me what it takes to be a weatherman and just how much they get paid for being wrong more often than right? That's a great gig if you can get it, it seems.

I'm quite glad there was no snow in Holland the past 3 days. A white christmas can have its charm but since I need to travel 2.5 hours by train to get to the in-laws... The trains pretty much seize any normal activity if a few flakes fall on the train tracks and getting there would take double the time

We had a warm and rainy christmas. It was around 15C outside so could take a nice walk without a thick coat! By the time I had to head home... Plenty of rain though
