A good amount of snow here but I am from Canada eh?

If its cold....do not try this at home.

Flagged and Slurred Slayer, Psss.... No body saw me spike the nog. Just a lil J.D. you know ? Yule tide and all.

My wife makes snowmen out of rocks. I asked her if she remembered the rock in a box ? And declared her idea even better. She's passed out now.

From the nog I bet.

Shhh.... Merry Christmas Slayerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !

We got our Christmas miracle yesterday with three inches of snow. Just enough to cover everything and make it aqll beautiful and not too much to make it a problem. Hope everyone has a good holiday season.

It's sorta white, having about an inch of snow on the ground where I live, and it's sorta cold.

I say sorta since for me, a White Christmas is having at least a few feet of snow and temperatures well below the zero mark. Nowadays, there are more White Valentine Days than White Christmases...

When we are used to having a lot of snow but end up having very little, people here have a hard time adjusting to the Christmas spirit. So they turn to the other spirits...and sales have been booming...

In french, our liquor stores call them "spiritueux"... I'm sure it's a conspiracy.

Happy Hollidays to all nonetheless and I hope we have a real White New Year's Eve !

Happy Holidays to all. Southern Illinois checking in.

It's a "balmy" 30F here. They're threatening blizzard conditions, but not till after 6pm supposedly. So no white Christmas here, at least not in the morning when most would prefer it.

I'm near Powers, Oregon for Christmas and New Years. We're not having a white Christmas here at my altitude, but I can see snow on the higher peaks. It's a bit strange to not have a yard full of the white stuff here on Christmas day. I think my brothers said that there hasn't been any snowfall at all this winter. Most years, the snow starts around thanksgiving.

Rainy, lightning, thunder, and chilly. Almost perfect weather for me. I do wish it was snowing, though. I've never seen a white Christmas.

But it's warm and cheerful inside! Merry Christmas!

Rainy and cold where I am in England. I wish we had some snow like my sister does where she lives in Vermont. I would love to build a snowman.

Merry Christmas everyone and have a safe and healthy New Year. xx

I'm so enjoying your post....the snowman and such! Here in NW Louisiana, Shreveport, we had a noisy, stormy Christmas Eve and part of Xmas day as well. Didn't get much sleep. On the plus side, it is being said, after storms/rain are done and temps to drop to 28 here, we may be getting some snow...prolly flurries but I'll take it! We lived in Wyoming at Yellowstone for a year and got our fill of snow there for sure. I usually sprinkle some instant mashed potato flakes on the porch here to make fake snow because it's usually pretty warm here but maybe won't have to this year.

Besides, we got a new kitty and I don't want her eating them and then having to expel brown "tator tots" if she dosen't have too.
Blessings and be safe and cozy and warm and well. ^j^

New Zealand had a warm but overcast Christmas.

Here, South of Auckland, we got some light rain which cooled off a hot day.

It's been breezy all day yesterday.

I'm actually wishing for some heavier rain today, to fill our tanks a bit.

Cheers and I hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Atlanta... chilly, damp, overcast, a slight and constant drizzle. The odd thing is that, despite the cold, there is also a muggy quality to the air. A wet heaviness one usually expects to experience during late spring or early fall - not during the winter.

Still, it's kind of beautiful in a way... a slate gray sky. Well, at least aesthetically pleasing in a strange sort of way... Like a living black and white photograph.

Meh, who am I kidding. It's crap weather.

Well it's been a very Wet Xmas in Oxfordshire... although the sun was out for a while today

The whole notion of a white Christmas was essentially created by Dickens.... he grew up and was ridiculously lucky enough to have like 7 in a row for the first 7 years of his life, so in His mind, Christmas a child was always white and that's why It's always snowy at Christmas in his tales.

Anyway, I would have LOVED a white Christmas but it was not to be.... the most important thing was sharing time with loved one's and remembering that family, friends and life is more important than anything.
With so much craziness in the world this year and for the last god knows how many, it's important to take the time and remember what is important and don't lose focus.

Merry Xmas ATS.

News says were suppose to get a severe thunderstorm tomorrow, so I'll guess wait and see what happens.

Only thing that's being severe is my toothache and I have to wait till the 2nd.

I don't know what's worse.

The storm or the tooth.

Warm with sunny blue skies. :-(

I wore capris and a short sleeved top. It barely felt like Christmas at all weather-wise. I always felt bad for Australians for having hot Christmases in their summer season. And that is what it was like for us yesterday... a summertime Christmas. It just isn't the same!
