I have never liked this idiot but doesn't he have freedom of speech like the rest of us???

SOURCE

After CNN’s Piers Morgan got spanked on national television this week by Gun Owners of America President Larry Pratt, people took to the White House petition site calling for the British host to be deported from the U.S. over his gun control views. Yes, I know, it won’t do any good to do that, but still it’s interesting to see the amount of people participating in the petition.

I was actually thinking since he touts how the United Kingdom is so great, why in the world doesn’t he just go live there? I mean why would you want to live in America if you think it’s such a terrible place and filled with such “absolutely stupid” people. This is how he referred to Mr. Pratt.

Best news I've heard all day.

If not deported, then at least off the air. He is just an anti-American Shill IMO and it pains me to see him at the same table with great people such as Jesse Ventura who should be in Morgan's seat speaking for Freedoms and Rights.

Peace

I think there may already be another thread on this but...

I think there are fundamental human rights. Our government would say that its ok to torture foreigners because they dont have Constitutionally protected rights. How evil is that? This is their argument: "we're going to be as evil as the law will allow". Disgusting. Of-course they now have citizen kill lists so they dont care about laws anyway.

I would argue that freedom of speech is a fundamental human right.

With regards to Piers Morgan, people see him as a subversive foreign agent trying to strip us of our freedom as opposed to someone who simply has an opinion.

Good on him for speaking his mind, couldnt have been easy considering how rabid most Yanks get when you talk about taking away their guns.

No idea who he is but I like him LOL

Piers Morgan is a retard but remember he is on CNN for a reason. Just like Bill Oreilly or Shawn Hannity. I saw him interview many People calling them names (just like I did) and I knew it was meant for People to watch and get on his "SIDE". Propaganda at its finest.

Now, having someone British come in and take over a time slot that used to be Larry Kings I am sure there is a reason he is in that time slot or else they would of put someone more like Larry King. King rarely gave opinions and usually conducted an INTERVIEW.

Journalists dont exist anymore. There all paid shills.

Now, deporting him would not work as I think it shows how much he is out of touch. Let him keep broadcasting his crap. The ratings (which I am sure are not good) will eventially get him deported anyway.

There's no doubt he has free speech. So do the idiots who start and sign petitions. If you'll look closely, you'll find a lot of the petitions on offer are, in one way or another, attempting to infringe someone's rights. But they have every right to loudly proclaim that they want to infringe someone's rights--whether or not they're idiotic enough to know that's what they're wishing for. And I say "wishing for" because most of those petitions amount to wish-lists of idiots who think they're the only ones with a valid opinion....

Disgusting, disgusting people.

Land of the free? Aye right, absolutely pathetic.

He voices his opinion on a tv programme where the topic is guns and you want him deported because he took a different view from you?

Grow the # up.

... Merry Christmas.

I used the search engine and didn't find anything even close. I think I saw something about Piers but it had nothing to do with this issue.

that description would fit half or more of our liberal Hollywood stars as well as many in the lamestream media and congress.

True, but at least we like our liberal Hollywood stars. We tolerate Congress because we always think we can change them. We suffer with the lamestream media because we have no choice at all; we can either not watch them or watch them when we need to get a good rant on.

But Piers Morgan falls into a category all his own. He's a particularly annoying ass at everything he does. It's easy to hate him. We'd hate him even if he wasn't "one of those" smug foreigners (many of them British) who want to take our guns away....

Freedom of speech protects unpopular views and we should all protect that speech.

With that being said, a 'foreign agent' trying to turn our country into 'their' country using propaganda techniques should quickly be silenced.

Voicing an opinion is one thing, but what morgan is doing is degrading and disrespecting the country that employs him and allows him here. He isn't just saying guns are bad he is saying this country is and its citizens are bad for wanting to continue their 2nd amendment. Remember he is not a citizen and he may have the freedom of speech but he is privileged to work here as a foreigner. Look up Kleindienst v. Mandel

He had a similar interview with Ted Nugent and Ted handed him his butt. He asked Piers when the anti gun crowd was going to recognize the actual statistics that show that places where guns have been confiscated from the citizens crime rates rise dramatically and where gun ownership and concealed carry are encouraged crime rates are low. Ted left Piers with the "deer in the headlights" look.
