DISCOVERING A "SAUCER NEST" IN YOUR BACKYARD

Sheryl is President of UFO Research Queensland, established in 1956, and has been interviewing witnesses for 31 years about their UFO sightings and close encounters. This time around Sheryl update us on the most recent UFO activity in Australia such as cases involving missing pregnancies, invisibility, missing time (one of a police trainee squad at a military base missing for 3 hours), and vehicle interference. She also goes into elaborate detail about the first saucer nests going back to 1966 in Tully, Australia, which were the forerunners we assume of the crop circles phenomena which encircled the globe within months. The group's investigation of this world exclusive event is top notch, as "scientific" as one can possibly get. So impressed are we with the group's work, we devoted an entire section to its research into UFOs at tree top level in our recently published, "Tim Swartz's Big Book Of Alien Encounters."

SOME of these type of reports [by NO MEANS all or even most] have been caused by spaceflight events, like examples below. I'm still collecting and assessing similar-appearing cases from Australia. Any suggested candidates?

There are dozens of visual stimuli that create UFO reports, up to [and quite possibly including, non-human technology]. The sooner the clueless clowns now dominating the internet UFO agenda recognize that MOST of their data is spurious, the sooner we can concentrate on REALLY interesting reports -- which I do think could exist.

Yes good to see you lurking Jim and can I ask you if there's any truth to this?

"I first became aware of Oberg’s “skeptical” stance on UFOs after he wrote an article for the December 1978 issue of OMNI magazine, in a column called “UFO Update”. A superficial review of Oberg’s comments in that article might lend the impression that he was even-handedly covering the UFO controversy. Far from it. A closer examination reveals Oberg’s subtle but persistent use of anti-UFO propaganda, not to mention his failure to identify himself to OMNI’s readers as an active-duty Air Force officer.

Fortunately, these tactics and omissions did not go unnoticed. In the following issue of OMNI, in a letter to the editor, Robert Barrow wrote, “C’mon James Oberg. If you plan to continue writing your skeptical UFO articles under the guise of proper scientific literature, please be fair. First, the OMNI readership should be aware that not only are you working with NASA but you are a U.S. Air Force officer in fine standing as well. In fact, while I knew you as Captain Oberg, I shouldn’t doubt you are now Major Oberg. As a former USAF staff sergeant, I can appreciate that and wish to congratulate you if you have achieved a higher rank...Your consistently skeptical articles are probably making some of your superiors far happier than anything you might write to the contrary...”
