In the video, it is referred to as a "rope."

Actually, in the description for the video it's called a "safety line" which makes no sense. Since when do base jumpers use a safety line?

@anyone else.. Just watch the video normally and especially the "line" in question after it "snaps" .. It's Very clear that whatever attached it wasn't up to the task.. The Forces a spinning 6 ft (2 meter) human can put on a bar is more than some of you guys might think.

Same principle that makes the Car go VROOM!! Vroom is a technical term meaning "car engine sound" Ha.

I too thought the the real reason that a demonic "rod" spliced that rope, guy is because the guy filming the video is a time traveler, video collector.
He shows up to record his demonic attacks.

What I see is some guy doing full loops on some structure that looks like it might just hold his weight if he was perfectly still. I'm amazed he actually made two complete loops before it collapsed. It looks like his upward swing force finally pulled/broke the tube right at the anchor points.

No one disagrees as to what is going on. The only thing being debated at this point is what the damn equipment is called. Phage is clearly the only one that cares, due to his extensive base jumping background.
