Where did this thread go???

It was posted into the introductions forum by theAnswer1111.... It was only 2 minutes old until It was removed by someone. There was a lot of good stuff in that thread and after I wrote my response It said I could not because It was already gone.

That thread is off for Christmas holidays!

If it was posted in introductions, then the member probably had not made the required amount of posts to create a thread. Introductions forum is for introductions..

Mods let the OP know when they are closing a thread, they also inform that you must post 20 times etc.. I have seen It before.

This thread just vanished without any notification, and It had a lot of good stuff inside.

He should be up to 20 posts shortly so go say Hi and keep an eye on him. I read the whole thing and a few of his links before it was 404'ed - he has further info he will add to it so at this rate it should be up in a few days tops

I have no idea who it was....was the member banned as well? That is telling. If an intro thread AND new member both vanished together ...and given the topic itself for a clue ...... I'd take a wild guess that Mods recognized the person as someone who has already been shown the door once or twice or a hundred times.

I've seen the same thing you have with the Mods bending over backwards to be helpful...with legitimate new users. I've also seen them be ruthless and vicious to those who just can't understand what "..AND STAY OUT!!" means.
