Recently read another thread where the OP claims that the recent Newtown shooting may have been a modern day equivalent of the tale of King Herald.
This has got me thinking. Supposing the Messiah is amongst us. Would he or SHE even know? Perhaps they have to follow some spiritual awakening, or even if they did know, would they be likely to be declared insane and spend their life in some psychiatric hospital.
Basically, what kind of signs do you think that Jesus should look for to know if they are Jesus. Don't worry, I am under no delusion about being Jesus, just thought it is kind of interesting. Maybe someone knows someone else who might be Jesus and needs telling so that they can become the Messiah and save us all.

One sign might be an urge to remain unknown. 'Like a thief in the night'. His goal would not be to set up a new Church or whatever but to fight for humanity on the 'astral plane', where most people wouldn't notice.

[color=gold] I think since the son made the transition from life to death and beyond. The knows, we must all be patient for upon full return the lamb will be clear. Those observed carrying the energy of the son supporting the father son with the ghost are signals of his strength gaining. Would be my guess. Whoever the messiah is 1 hopes when fully materialized in this zone, many dont judge the from appearance but feel what the came to do for all.... Remember son=king of universe. Wonders is it by force or logic in love understanding and acceptance from ALL CREATOR CREATIONS , that hey we all were Created from FATHER even stubborn Satan and those who follow the.

I imagine that a supposed jesus 2.0 would have some kind of link to his father. Isn't that how it worked with the first guy? God would speak to Jesus?
In which case our modern society would most likely interpret that as a mental illness. But I guess a way to test it, is to see if this person could make predictions with the knowledge received from God. But then again, if the test is a succes, it might as well be because you suffer from schizophrenia and cant sort out events in time. So it's hard to say.

Just entertaining the idea, but must admit I find the existens of a savior unlikely.
But if we strip away the miracles, I think most people are capable of being christlike in their interaction with others. Just a matter of being a forgiving and understanding person.

But if anyone thinks they are Jesus. Then you are most likely nuts - if you ask me.

There are plenty locked in mental institutions with Messiah Complexes...the last thing any one should do is notify the general public if they were. lol

Just as Luciferians believe in the method of waiting out until the Great Reveal, I believe JC would do the similar.
This time around it would be more like a 'Secret Santa' or the guy at the door step that you either turn away or feed him some soup. It would be these little things that he would be keeping tabs on who his real friends are vs those who are cold and uncaring.

Frankly, I would like him to lay low, I do love surprises.

When Jesus returns he will not be born, he will return as the Son of God, in all his glory.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.—Matthew 24:23-31

He'd be riding a cloud, and have legions of angels behind him. The 1st visit was the humble beginnings visit. This next one is supposed to be very different. He'll know who he is already and won't be a baby who's got to grow up.

I thought everyone knew this already.

I've given this profound question a lot of thought...

The answer: Family and Personal reflection.

1. Was my father a narcissistic tyrant that demanded praise and worship..?

If so, the list just got really short

2. How come my mother never talked to me about sex..? Oh, that's right, she never had it...

Need I say more..?

3. Have you ever been grounded as a child..?

If not, this is proof alone...

Easy stuff...

It doesn't necessarily follow that he won't be born. That's just the orthodox interpretation.

'...and they will see...' that would be those 'with eyes to see', right?

Do most people have 'eyes to see'? Or not?

Do you have eyes but fail to see, and ears but fail to hear? And don't you remember? -Mark 8:18

People figure that it must be the physical eyes doing the seeing. What if it isn't? What if it is about the eyes of the spirit seeing into the 'astral plane', but no one remembering because so few of us are shamans / mystics?

Brother knew whom he was. Many that come from above have no memory of being above, for them to complete task here. But, when Jesus was here, he kept his memory to remain perfect.

I fail to see the point of arguing with the Bible about Jesus, seriously! Aside from Josephus the Bible is the only other resource we have regarding Jesus It is quite clear in multiple places that he will come with trumpets sounding, from the clouds and everyone will see him.

I'm not so sure about the whole trumpets and glory thing. That would be a very literal interpretation wouldn't it? In the same way that the bible uses parables to explain things, trumpets and glory and the days of darkness etc could be interpreted in very different ways. And if they were visions of the return, they might not understand some of the technologies etc that we have now, so this would be a best effort to describe it.

I'm not arguing with the Bible about Jesus. I'm arguing with orthodox interpretations of the Bible. They are flawed.

Jesus has a way of shattering orthodoxies.

Revelation 19:15
And out of his mouth goes forth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations

So maybe look for some kind of sword tongue attachment thingy

That is a perfect example of how some people take the text too literally. Interpreted it means that he is a very good speaker and basically puts the leaders of the nations in their place vocally.
