Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.—Matthew 24:23-31

Recently read another thread where the OP claims that the recent Newtown shooting may have been a modern day equivalent of the tale of King Herald.
This has got me thinking. Supposing the Messiah is amongst us. Would he or SHE even know? Perhaps they have to follow some spiritual awakening, or even if they did know, would they be likely to be declared insane and spend their life in some psychiatric hospital.
Basically, what kind of signs do you think that Jesus should look for to know if they are Jesus. Don't worry, I am under no delusion about being Jesus, just thought it is kind of interesting. Maybe someone knows someone else who might be Jesus and needs telling so that they can become the Messiah and save us all.

When Jesus returns he will not be born, he will return as the Son of God, in all his glory.

He'd be riding a cloud, and have legions of angels behind him. The 1st visit was the humble beginnings visit. This next one is supposed to be very different. He'll know who he is already and won't be a baby who's got to grow up.

It doesn't necessarily follow that he won't be born. That's just the orthodox interpretation.
'...and they will see...' that would be those 'with eyes to see', right?
Do most people have 'eyes to see'? Or not?
Do you have eyes but fail to see, and ears but fail to hear? And don't you remember? -Mark 8:18
People figure that it must be the physical eyes doing the seeing. What if it isn't? What if it is about the eyes of the spirit seeing into the 'astral plane', but no one remembering because so few of us are shamans / mystics?

I fail to see the point of arguing with the Bible about Jesus, seriously!
