Same story, Different forums

I always thought the same story could run simultaneously in different forums. Has this changed?

Not quite.

There are only two forums which we will allow a duplicate story.

Breaking Alternative News
Breaking Political News

If a story exists in either of those two forums than a single, 2nd thread can be created in another appropriate forum.

Other than exceptions made by staff for particular circumstances that would usually be only time it's allowed. Although some do slip through the cracks when it comes to a very large story such as the CT shooting for example.

Duplicate threads praising the mods and offering them sacrifices and cake are also allowed I hear
