Many of you are scoffing about today and saying that nothing has happened. On the contrary, the entire world will now entering the period fortold in the Bible as the falling away. Specifically, this date of 2012.9 is a marker for two events to begin. As evidenced in this place, comments tell the story clearly. Here are your signs. Your time of warning has expired and the time of testing is beginning. Are you ready for a wild rise over the next 7 years? Only the narrow gate will get you from here to there. You will hear many false profits come on this board in the coming months and years. Who will you trust? God's word or the words of men? If you are looking for "the event," you will be disappointed. If you are looking for a change over the next 1000 years, you will see it come. The next seven years will show the enemy being made the footstool. Come back in seven years and see that the Bible was correct. Their time of rule is at an end and they will not depart without a fight. Which side of truth will you be on?

Falling Away and Separation of Sheep and Goats:

1) The Falling Away

2 Thesssalonians 2

2 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

2) Separation of Sheep and Goats

To understand why this is happening now, you need to realize that Christ is on his throne now. He has entered the temple for judgment. That judgment starts with the House of God itself. How do we know he has entered the temple: Global Financial Meltdown (Peacemakers have no rest and the financial tables are turned)

Matthew 7 (Sheep and Goats)

31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

The bible says that we won't be able to predict the end times and even if we got it right God would spite us and move the date. Also in the bible it gives clear indications on when the end of times begins.
Today was not that day.

If your so devout, how did you miss this? I learned that in elementary school.

Your better to live your life like you will die tomorrow anyways, you might do something better with your life then spread your false interpretations.

By the way, linking to your own topics as proof of your claim is not real science at all. Shall I write ten topics and then interlink them all as proof? Will you believe my story if I do?
At least try and provide some unbiased factual evidence when making these grand claims, otherwise quit wasting your and my time.

Well we can clearly see who is trying to derail the thread, If you don't like what you read, you can change that with a click of the mouse.

As for the OP, I keep an open mind

Misquoting scripture in rebuttal is not science either. Nowhere does it say that God will spite us and move the day for correctly guessing when it will be. In fact the bible hints that the elect could discern the timeframe but not the day or hour.

There is a reason for the season for sure. We can know the season. Day or hour? No. Month or week? Possibly. I think we should watch 2017 as the final 50 year golden jubilee to match this verse about the fallen watchers.

Genesis 6

6 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

I'm afraid you are completely wrong.

You need to read Joshua 3 to understand the true meaning.

3 Early in the morning Joshua and all the Israelites set out from #tim and went to the Jordan, where they camped before crossing over. 2 After three days the officers went throughout the camp, 3 giving orders to the people: “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the Levitical priests carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it. 4 Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before. But keep a distance of about two thousand cubits[a] between you and the ark; do not go near it.”

5 Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.”

6 Joshua said to the priests, “Take up the ark of the covenant and pass on ahead of the people.” So they took it up and went ahead of them.

7 And the Lord said to Joshua, “Today I will begin to exalt you in the eyes of all Israel, so they may know that I am with you as I was with Moses. 8 Tell the priests who carry the ark of the covenant: ‘When you reach the edge of the Jordan’s waters, go and stand in the river.’”

9 Joshua said to the Israelites, “Come here and listen to the words of the Lord your God. 10 This is how you will know that the living God is among you and that he will certainly drive out before you the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girga#es, Amorites and Jebusites. 11 See, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth will go into the Jordan ahead of you. 12 Now then, choose twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one from each tribe. 13 And as soon as the priests who carry the ark of the Lord—the Lord of all the earth—set foot in the Jordan, its waters flowing downstream will be cut off and stand up in a heap.”

14 So when the people broke camp to cross the Jordan, the priests carrying the ark of the covenant went ahead of them. 15 Now the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest. Yet as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water’s edge, 16 the water from upstream stopped flowing. It piled up in a heap a great distance away, at a town called Adam in the vicinity of Zarethan, while the water flowing down to the Sea of the Arabah (that is, the Dead Sea) was completely cut off. So the people crossed over opposite Jericho. 17 The priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord stopped in the middle of the Jordan and stood on dry ground, while all Israel passed by until the whole nation had completed the crossing on dry ground.

Once you are done with that, skip to Daniel 9.

9 In the first year of Darius son of Xerxes[a] (a Mede by descent), who was made ruler over the Babylonian kingdom— 2 in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the Lord given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. 3 So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes.

4 I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed:

“Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 5 we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. 6 We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes and our ancestors, and to all the people of the land.

7 “Lord, you are righteous, but this day we are covered with shame—the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, both near and far, in all the countries where you have scattered us because of our unfaithfulness to you. 8 We and our kings, our princes and our ancestors are covered with shame, Lord, because we have sinned against you. 9 The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him; 10 we have not obeyed the Lord our God or kept the laws he gave us through his servants the prophets. 11 All Israel has transgressed your law and turned away, refusing to obey you.

“Therefore the curses and sworn judgments written in the Law of Moses, the servant of God, have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against you. 12 You have fulfilled the words spoken against us and against our rulers by bringing on us great disaster. Under the whole heaven nothing has ever been done like what has been done to Jerusalem. 13 Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not sought the favor of the Lord our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your truth. 14 The Lord did not hesitate to bring the disaster on us, for the Lord our God is righteous in everything he does; yet we have not obeyed him.

15 “Now, Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and who made for yourself a name that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong. 16 Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from Jerusalem, your city, your holy hill. Our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors have made Jerusalem and your people an object of scorn to all those around us.

17 “Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary. 18 Give ear, our God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. 19 Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For your sake, my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name.”

The Seventy “Sevens”

20 While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel and making my request to the Lord my God for his holy hill— 21 while I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice. 22 He instructed me and said to me, “Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding. 23 As soon as you began to pray, a word went out, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed. Therefore, consider the word and understand the vision:

24 “Seventy ‘sevens’[c] are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish[d] transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place.[e]

25 “Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One,[f] the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. 26 After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing.[g] The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed. 27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’[h] In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple[j] he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.[k]”[l]

Once you are done.... you need to go to Genesis 22, because thats where the answer to your question truly lies...
Here....

22 Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!”

“Here I am,” he replied.

2 Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.”

3 Early the next morning Abraham got up and loaded his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out for the place God had told him about. 4 On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance. 5 He said to his servants, “Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.”

6 Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac, and he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two of them went on together, 7 Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, “Father?”

“Yes, my son?” Abraham replied.

“The fire and wood are here,” Isaac said, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?”

8 Abraham answered, “God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two of them went on together.

9 When they reached the place God had told him about, Abraham built an altar there and arranged the wood on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. 10 Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. 11 But the angel of the Lord called out to him from heaven, “Abraham! Abraham!”

“Here I am,” he replied.

12 “Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.”

13 Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram[a] caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”

15 The angel of the Lord called to Abraham from heaven a second time 16 and said, “I swear by myself, declares the Lord, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, 17 I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, 18 and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed,[c] because you have obeyed me.”

19 Then Abraham returned to his servants, and they set off together for Beersheba. And Abraham stayed in Beersheba.

You really believe we are just now starting to "fall"? We've been falling for thousands of years, everyday brings a new low for our planet or species. Whether it be tearing down forests to build a vacation resort, places being bombed, people being killed, or a bank screwing over a homeowner we have been falling for a LOOONG time.

The more technically advanced we are the less spiritually aware we become. Satan has ruled over Earth for thousands of years and the Bible/Koran has aided in his takeover.

The greatest trick Satan ever played was not to make us think he doesn't exist, it's to make us believe he is god. This "strong delusion" Paul speaks of is the teachings that HE forced people to believe in, else they be tormented for eternity.

Oh, Jesus isn't coming back. The second coming was invented by the Romans and is based off of their pagan sun-worship ideology. In this case, instead of saying the sun would ride in on a cloud burning and glassing everything, they said Jesus the man would.

Here is a good video that is relevant to the message of what it takes to take the name and become a sheep of Christ. It's all about giving from the heart, but giving is not the point. Giving is a reflection of a changed heart. Giving has nothing to do with money, but showing compassion for those in need as a reflection of the name we take. Taking the name of Christ apart from the character is taking it in vain.

No.
Islam teaches us that Satan has NO power over humans.... apart from being able to whisper into our ears... or hearts.

The Bible teaches us that if one resists the devil, he will flee from you.
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Satan is the enemy of mankind. And only 2 religions have warned us about it.

The bible begs to differ, it says that Peter was tempted by Satan and that Judas was taken over by him.

Luke 22:3
Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve.

Satan most certainly does have power over people, if not then why are we in the situation we are in now? Lies, war, famine, pollution, lies, and more lies, Satan (ego) rules Earth because power begets corruption and corruption is Satan's game plan. If Satan doesn't rule Earth then who does?

Also, Christianity and Islam (I assume those are the two you are talking about) are not the only religions to study the light and dark aspects of humanity, just about ALL of them do. Satan and God are just two opposite ends on the spectrum of human morality, nothing more.

Then Satan has already whispered into the hearts of criminals...some of who rule the world.
This is what religion teaches us... that good and evil are fighting a battle....and that good will win.

Also, Christianity and Islam (I assume those are the two you are talking about) are not the only religions to study the light and dark aspects of humanity, just about ALL of them do.

The fact that many religions teach that good and evil are in conflict with other re-enforces what Christianity and Islam teaches.

So Satan whispering into people's ears and having them do what he tells them is not controlling them how?

Christianity and Islam aren't anywhere near to being the first religions, they are fairly recent compared to some others, so how does a work that comes after be enforced by the ones that came before? It should be the other way around.

Satan does not "control".
He only whispers an evil idea of suggestion into the minds of people. Some people, more prone to evil believe those evil ideas are the product of their own minds and sometimes act upon it.

Christianity and Islam aren't anywhere near to being the first religions, they are fairly recent compared to some others, so how does a work that comes after be enforced by the ones that came before? It should be the other way around.

A religion being newer is not necessarily less valid than a religion that came before.
Also it works both ways..a newer religion can sometimes enforce the older one and vice versa. The idea that good and evil are opposed to each other is supported by all religions.... except religions that say its good to kill and its a virtue to be a thief etc.

This transition started a while back already, people are becoming more aware of the people deceiving them almost everywhere in the world. Those holding on to their deceitful lives will soon be destroyed, fighting among themselves for the money and treasures that they own.

God is not here quite yet, he is on the way but has to pass by many worlds and stops for coffee at many of them.

First you say:

Satan does not "control".

Then you say:

Some people, more prone to evil believe those evil ideas are the product of their own minds and sometimes act upon it.

So tell me, if Satan doesn't have control of people then how does he get them to accept and do what he says to them? Also, why assume that those thoughts aren't a product of the human mind? They originate within their thought-pattern so why assume it's some outside entity influencing them? The more logical thing to believe would be that those thoughts arise from the ego don't you think?

Also it works both ways..a newer religion can sometimes enforce the older one and vice versa. The idea that good and evil are opposed to each other is supported by all religions.... except religions that say its good to kill and its a virtue to be a thief etc.

What religions say it's good to kill and be a thief? Also, I'm confused at why Islam, Christianity, and Judaism all disagree with each other when they all share the same god? Satan works by dividing and conquering, something your god has done very well up to this point.
