Don't worry about it too much.

You'll be sinking VB's and eating ham on a typical stinking hot Aussie Chrissie Day before you know it.

One thing is certain; our "leaders" are privy to a lot of information that the rest of us are kept in the dark about. Their ways are folly however; king rats are still rats.

Ok, starting to re-think my position on 'nothing is going to happen' stance.

Had a look at the UK Parliament diary and it is basically the same as the US one linked above with the exception of one entry on 1st March 2013.

Lots of things in the diary up until the 20th (where they seem to go on xmas holidays), but even after the date of coming back there is nothing scheduled in. Don't they usually have things scheduled in weeks before hand??

UK Parliament diary

They're in recess till 7th January. On the 7th January this is scheduled in.

at this moment, i'm guessing Obama is in bed asleep or whatever he gets up to in bed.

you have waited years for this day?

i knew the average IQ on this site was falling but this must take it to an all time low.

That's true, though I see they have no start time listed, like they do with other schedules.
Can't believe there is nothing going on in parliament from 7th January to 1st March though.

Let's just hope it doesn't mean anything. Had at one point been wary of this date, then the more I read the more I thought, naaa, it's a load of rubbish, nothing is going to happen. But when wee things like this appear, it makes me wonder if something is going to go down, be it natural or instigated.

This is happening on the 8th.

9.30am - 11am
Sri Lanka and the UN responsibility to protect - Siobhain McDonagh

11am - 11.30am
Victims of female genital mutilation - Karl Turner

2.30pm - 4pm
Liverpool Care Pathway - Glyn Davies

4pm - 4.30pm
Funding for schools and sixth-forms in Cambridgeshire - Dr Julian Huppert

4.30pm - 5pm
Trends in donations to charities - John Robertson

Are you looking at all the location tabs when you check or just the main chamber?

www.whitehouse.gov...

Is it normal for the schedule to be blank after the current day? How far ahead is it usually publicly available? I wouldn't know. If not that is a bit odd, I'm sure it's a coincidence though.

You guys really are going to feel stupid when the 21st comes and goes. You should feel ashamed of becoming victims of media hype. You should all know better.

I live on the Coral Sea, but cannot see any stars due to cloud cover, sorry I couldn't help.

It could be due to haze from bush fires, we've had a bit of that around here.

helps to know where you are.

I could check the weather and tell you there is cloud cover over your area.

when there is cloud cover it blocks the stars lol.
