Precisely why I barely payed attention to the news. Whenever I flicked it on, regardless of the station, there was the onslaught of Newton "reports" that were more along the lines of repeating the same official story info, over and over. There definitely is a synchronicity between the reporting & the way the information is delivered. I don't know if it was mind-control per se, but there's something about the news that raises red flags in my mind. So I just stay away from it for the most part.

Well, obviously the writer of the article has more passion regarding the subject. However, anyone can say the every nationally televised event is a mind control device. As a matter of fact, I found myself wondering just what else might be going on. .. and where. Sometimes I wonder if I've just had too much ATS.

I guess, in the end, television is exactly that. . .a distraction and a device that presents, and sometime alters some of the things we do.

Truly an eye opening article. TV is without a doubt one big mind control project. Just look at the amount of people that spend continuous hours in front of a TV! Nowadays it seems as if almost everyone I talk to has been taught the majority of their knowledge by some kind of moving picture box, be it computers or televisions. The only reason Dec 21 2012 is such a big deal is because its being constantly mentioned in the media.

Just yesterday I was watching Obama speaking live on TV about gun control and he started off by stating every death-by-gun that had occurred since the tragedy at CT. Just to be clear I am by no means a fan of Obama and his administration, but somehow his speech enthraled me. For a while I actually believed that gun control was the answer, somehow I actually believed him. That false state of mind soon dissipated.

If we continue on this path then soon we will be questioning all that we possess that can also cause harm or death. While we are on the subject of gun control we should also be talking about controlling knives, human hands, cars, planes, motorcycles, blunt objects, etc. TPTB are undoubtedly on a mission to ultimately control the human body (weapon) and to fool us into believing that this is the only way.

As I type this I'm sitting in my living room with my family as they watch Telemundo news and I can safely say the death of Jenni Rivera has become something more than normal. Every single day her name, and death, is mentioned, followed by videos of people idolizing her. EVERY DAY!!! It's like the CT shooting but for Hispanic audiences, without the talk of gun control, which is probably why it's no big deal here on ATS

I agree with many things regarding this. It's always a form of mind control now and the networks have figured that out awhile back. We're told now how to feel and experience an event instead of them reporting the facts and letting us decide. Nobody is going to call them on it and there is nobody to care.

It's the same with gun control now being brought up again. Most people I've talked to perfectly accepted the news stories that center around the gun and not the kid killing those people.
If that kid didn't have access to guns then he would of driven a car into a packed crowd and did just as much damage. That's what an news anchor should be saying.

I see where you are coming from, and I agree. Making people believe everything a show says has become as easy as slapping "Reality TV" on the description. The fact that Jersey Shore is still seen by the majority as "Reality" should be proof enough of the mind control power of television. Americans are being made to believe that reality is more interesting than they have experienced, but these actors are nothing more than that.

I pray that a solar flare will destroy technology on earth that we may finally move forward to being one with nature as a species, minus the inevitable chaos.

All I really know is that if the government plans to take away the rights of Americans over an incident than that incident should be cracked wide open to the public. We should get a very clear story.

Thats it right there. And from what we have so far we shouldnt let the government do a d#m thing on this. And for them to go forward under these conditions should be viewed as we do.....with much suspicion.

The people made their choice, they didn't need to be coerced into it.
exactly. im progun and i agree with you.

Wow! Thanks BenevolentTruth! Summarized some of my feelings about this precisely. I had to think long and hard about this issue, because I also was almost persuaded that this story was somehow linked to the concept of "gun control". But, upon reflection, realized that it was just a mind manipulation by the media, there is so much more to this story than that. As others have already posted, television seems to be more interested in coloring our perceptions about issues, groups and events than in just presenting the facts and allowing the viewer to decide which side of the subject to fall on.

That's one of the reasons I think the concept of "gun control" is ridiculous - it means different things to different people. Not only that, but if you reflect on it, it actually has no more meaning as a label than say, "knife control", "sword control", "axe control", "machete control", etc., just substitute any tool or implement that could be used for inflicting bodily harm to another person or person(s). None of these so-called controls can really prevent any crime with one of these tools from taking place by a deranged individual. But, somehow we are led to buy into the illusion that it will protect people, while willingly relinquishing the right to protect ourselves and those we love. That's the irony of this whole thing.

The media is using a magician's trick of misdirection and making people feel that they know all there is to know while never pursuing any facts that might trip up the agenda they want people to accept without questioning.

Amazing insights you provided! Thank you!

lol.....all that crap is as real as Real TV... I loath that channel, and I have to say the first time I seen the advertisement for Amish mob I about died laughing.......nothing on these so called educational TV programs are for honest observation any more, its all about selling you a story to keep you dumbed down and entertained and it just amazes me how much people buy into that.

The news has'nt been right since OJ killed his wife....That incident changed news media forever it created what we now call the media circus, and it all has gone down hill from there....it's like they found Americas mental G spot for news and ran with it.....so much so that lying and slide of hand reporting is common and no one gets held accountable.....and god forbid if I posted that article up on facebook......lol, hell I just might.

The media are idiots. They are good at repeating what they read from idiot cards. They aren't allowed anywhere near a crime scene because they are idiots. They would tromp all over the evidence trying to get a picture of it--- first.

Then idiotically report their findings, any findings... as long as they are--- first. The detectives know to keep the idiots at arms length, Hell football fields length, because they never shut up asking questions. The idiots outshout each other to ask the question--- first. Any question. Over and over. The ones that can't be answered.

How many, whats their name? Who did it? Where do they live? When can we talk to the victims? Where do they live? All the idiot questions that they want answered. We don't know. Its on going. Who? Can't say at this time. You know why?

Because people are already setting up phony charities in the names of the victims and trying to contact them to get interviews, book and movie rights, to preach to them, to threaten them further. Blah, blah, blah. Tar and feather the vidiot journalists for interfering and spreading false information and innuendo. Jerk wads.

After hearing on the radio in the car how horrible this tragedy was, I turned on the television when I got home. And like the Blog says, everything was sterile and predictable from one channel to the next. Since the gunman and every victim died at the scene, the media had nothing factual to talk about except body counts and showing 20 second video loops over and over.

A half hour after turning on the TV, I turned it off and went to the best source for news..ATS and the internet in general. At least YOU are in control when you get your news that way. Stay away from The Weather Channel too. That station is being run by greedy executives who think viewers are dumber than dumb.

In Australia it was interesting to flick between CNN and Fox news on the sattelite channels and see how synchronised the reporting was between the two stations.

It was if a script writer had faxed the times and sequences to each of the stations .
Good thread and a good blog.

thats how the presidential speeches are made worldwide, every election every country same speech!

I don't understand what people think they are going to accomplish with gun control, it's not going to stop anything, except make people 'feel better' and compremise what little rights they have left. I was hoping that maybe finally, people would really start asking themselves, What are the real reasons for why people, especially our young people, are doing these acts?

Which is one of the reasons I am in favor of a national internet only(banning non-Americans from posting or unduly interfering with American politics and socio-structures). Really, the sheer level of arrogance from the serfs from Europe who want to be slaves is sickening and a reminder of why my ancestors helped push the redcoats out of America.

Your not American so you don't get a say with how we Americans decide to live, get over it.

The media aren't idiots. They are a tool that is incorporated every day. On September 11, I watched the news, and believed an event happened the way they told it to me. In December 2012, millions of people watched the news and believed an event happened the way they told them.

On September 11, we gave up some of our most fundamental rights. In December 2012, we will begin to give up more of these rights.

False flag events and warfare go HAND-IN-HAND with the media. How do you think we have started every war from the 1890's onward?

My take: Umm... DUH.

I realized this a long, long time ago. I haven't watch TV in 4 years. I not only cancelled my cable subscription, but I physically CUT the cable, and reached as far into the wall as I could and cut it again, so that it would be a...chore...to reconnect it.

Whenever something major happens in the world, I CAN'T watch TV. I just get really frustrated with the lack of hard-hitting questions that NEVER GET ASKED on the mainstream news media. I've been getting all my news from ATS and YouTube - for RAW videos, and some dumbassed idiot news reporter narrating what I'm seeing.

I don't like being told what to believe.

Hypocrisy much?

I hear where you are coming from about "planned mass media brainwashing events" like WMD and using 911 to clamor for war. Thats what makes them idiotic in my mind. I don't fall for their harping about gun control after this shooting, I know that US arms exports kill many more children and women daily around the world.

I was more directing how they handled the reporting of the story in Conn. in the initial stages, spreading rumor and innuendo. Now because of their "reporting", a boatload of disinformation "conspiracies" has been spawned on the internet. They do that to be the first to report on something so that they can give each other awards at banquets later.

This massacre might have been staged like the Batman shooting (drugged flunky and some handlers kills people and media is manipulated) -- but it doesn't mean it's to launch Gun Control.

It might be necessary for those in control, just to create traumatic events for us to keep us from focusing too much on economic justice or coming together in positive ways to take control of this country.

Guns are NOT making you safe. Owning your home and having a good job will give you far more power than building a bunker and stocking up on weapons. Really, you aren't much of a threat to an armed military or drone unless you've got a million people on the move.

Having all these powerful "toys" around is fun for some guys out there, but it's an illusion of control -- and gun control is very due in this nation. The Old World Order isn't any better than this threat of the "New World Order" I'm supposed to be afraid of.
