I have said this before and I'll reiterate here.

Mother Nature and all it's creatures are beautiful, but don't think for a second of turning your back on her. She'll kill you and all you love without hesitation.

Could you imagine if the eagle kept it's grip? Ugh. Cool vid. S+F.

The eagle needs to eat too. Just natural.

We eat cows, I see no problem if the Eagle eats a kid.

Talk about karma, humans destroy the eagles environment and its forced to find strange food elsewhere.

It is obvious by now, we must ban Mother nature!
But really now, as an above poster mentioned big birds can carry off goats.
When I was a wee boy my aunt and uncle lived up north abit and their cats were always being dragged of by owls and eagles and the like.
I never worried too much about it as I had my secret weapon, I was a fat kid!!
Good the bird lost his grip, or maybe his cheap chinese manufactured clothes ripped.
Either way, good for him.
How horrible that would be for a parent to watch their kid fly away.

You obviously.don't have kids to make a heartless statement like that... And if you did. God help them..
that child was nearly gone.. its one thing to think things like that but to put it down in words... let's hope mother nature never destroys your life one day

If some animal eats me one day, it will be natural too. I wouldn`t have complains about that.

If we have the right to eat animals, they have the same right to eat us.

This was pretty funny, I've never seen anything like it. How much do you think that eagle can carry?

Yep, that was pretty funny alright....

If that child landed on its head even at that height he or she could have easily broken their neck, then there is the damage done to a child's still soft skull and the shock wave that would reverberate through the brain.

Whoa! Yes its wise to keep an eye on mother nature+her creatures when spending time outdoors,specially with babies+small kids.Here my only worries really are poisonous snakes. Thank God the kid's okay,those talons..in my country,the Bearded Vulture is also known as the Lammervanger(Lamb catcher) thats what the oldtime farmers started calling it-propably because newborn lambs did get carried off by this now endangered species.

Although the authenticity may be questionable in this particular video, i bet this has happened somewhere.

Eagles have been known to take small dogs whilst being walked by their owners.

I don't know why people say it's fake. It looks pretty real to me. When the guy filming sees the bird grab the kid he automatically puts the camera away and starts running to help. looks scary.
