A golden eagle tries to snatch a baby in Montreal! What if he got away with it!?
This is some scary crazy bird stuff! Keep a look-out with your "little" kids

I've seen some wild stuff on ATS, but that has to rank near the top! Thankfully the child appeared to be too heavy. Talk about the last thing anyone would think might happen to them at the park of all places. Wow! Will someone post Steve Miller singing Fly like an eagle? Thanks...

Your right! Hope the guy that took that makes them a copy..

I have this book "Thunderbirds America's Living Legends of Giant Birds by Mark A. Hall Introduction by Loren Coleman Illustrations by Mark Rollins Paraview Press, 2004"

In the book this kind of stuff happens..but never filmed..he got the money shot!!

Holy SH... Well, you know what. Just wow! I've seen that horrible video before where a golden eagle yanked a goat off of a cliff and sent him rolling down a mountain, but this is just terrifying on an all new level. I knew that they were strong ferocious birds but now they're preying on humans too.
If they can carry off small deer or throw goats off of mountains, I bet they could carry off someone bigger than a baby as well if they really wanted to.

That's a very frightening concept indeed.

Well, the simple way to deal with that would be in keeping with the way authorities are reacting to events these days, so............

Kill all birds, globally.

No more problem

I was already laughing but when that music came on I lost it bad. I never knew Eagle got that big. Glad the little guy is OK. Gonna be one awesome story to tell, and there's proof! Great find. I watched it a few times because it seemed fake.

Why is the baby so,far away from the parents to begin with....and sitting straight up all by itself....and wearing a red hat with eyeballs on it to look like pry...it's set up...and is the clothing from the kid to the kid taken by the eagle the same clothing?

Wow! Just wow!!!

So...what if an eagle takes a baby....
but nobody is around to get pictures.....
the parent calls 911.....says a bird took my baby...
nobody else happened to see it....the baby is gone...
the parent goes to jail...or a mental institution!!

Just sayin'....
Pretty scary stuff!!!
Thank goodness he had that bulky jacket on
& the eagle couldn't get a good grip on him!!!
WOQ

A hawk took our neighbor's poodle, I thought that was awful!
I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight! Thanks a lot!!!

WOW!!

That's one of the most amazing pieces of film I've ever seen.

I once saw a golden eagle by the side of the road feasting on a lamb; it was early spring and lambing season. I'm hoping it was a stillborn one but I had no way of knowing. Those birds are big! The wingspan is easily six foot.

No problem, that was a great Idea! That poor kid landed just like I did on my 1st parachute (solo) jump..right on my hip/side..hurt like crap for a few days
(he bounced)

Omg
that is some terrifying footage. I have heard of birds taking lambs before, but never seen it. That baby is a lucky little fella with a great story to tell and with video proof. S&F

That has to be fake! I grew up in Montreal and I've never seen any eagle on Mont Royal in 33 years. There's peregrine falcons downtown but eagles?

Holy hell

Watched again.

F-balls

That bird is bold. If this was a wolf or bear it would be hunted down and devastated.

That kid has an awesome story for the rest of his life.

Seriously, damn!

I actually know some people back at home...they decided to camp out in the wilderness with their family and the new born baby...While the parents were looking away for a sec, an eagle flew and snatched the baby away.
Sad but true story.
