Should women be treated equally?

I want you to think about the standards women put on men as a whole. Generally they want you to build a nest so that they may come and mate. To create a new family for future generations. Much like animals.

Not all animals are like this and not all people.

Again lets think about women. What do they want?

Should men expect the same from them?

Should men turn them down if they don't have money?

Should they turn them down if they don't have a car?

Should they be turned down if they are not tight enough?

Should they be turned down if they don't have a job or they're own place?

They do want to be treated as equals do they not?

This is just me thinking out loud about the general b/s between male and female relations and how stupid it is for women to want to be treated as equals.

Let's be honest here women never leave home unless some MAN provides them with a place to live. Need I say more?

Girls that think like that are just gold diggers .. And I stay away from those kind of people as they are usually selfish and just use people for their own gain and very materialistic .. disgusting people really . And some guys think that way about when they are finding a mate .

I have never been turned down for any of those reasons? Woman should be treated equal, just like children, elders, disabled people and any other category of human being.

I fear you may open up a can of hate on this one, but you do make a good point. Women are by nature and by physiology different, and thus not equal with men. This is truth.

However, they as beings and humans within a society need to be offered the same opportunities and rights as men, ie. the rights to liberty, freedom, pursuit of happiness, etc. How they should be 'treated' is left up to individual choice and shouldn't be dictated by a moral authority (as we've seen with disastrous results in religion). You, nor I, can tell someone how they should be treated, lest the same were to happen to us.

Unless you treat everyone as an individual, man or woman, you will never see someone for who they are and never earn or give the respect you or they deserve.

It's easy if you forget everything you posted and start from scratch when you first meet them.

No preconceptions, just what it is at the time and easier to understand when you don't have to reel through the mental list of comparisons and stereotypes.

I agree with you and the other posters. What I'm saying I guess is. Should they be held to the same standards?

In the spirit of this thread, I'll add a thought/observation of my own: Women always marry "up". You'll never meet a woman lawyer married to a mechanic or an unemployed guy, but it's not uncommon for a male in the same economic position marry a waitress or unemployed person. The woman lawyer will marry a judge or a bigger name lawyer, or the local TV anchor or somebody a bit more well-off than themselves.
Likewise, a modestly employed woman will quit her job and bleed you dry for life with no regrets, just ask my wife.

Imagine if you will their is someone for everybody. This is true I gurantee it. But imagine that you are rich and sadly enough your soul mate male or female is someone who don't work and doesn't have their own place and still lives at home.

If your typical people you will never know true happiness. Because obviously you could never compare what it's like to be with the right person then it is to be with someone who is just a prototype or blue print of the right person.

Meaning sure they may fit but they will never truly fit like the glove that doesn't necessarily fit your "standards" that are dictated by your social circles.

Despite the decades of feminazi bs most women still want to be a woman, and love to feel sexy. For most unbrainwashed women there is nothing more sexy than submitting to a worthy man. In terms of treatment nobody has the right to expect to be treated any better, or worse than they treat others.

Your observation is spot on this is known as Hypergamy and it is part of a womans biological nature, it most likely stems from a need to select a mate most likely to provide the most resources for her children.

Call me old fashioned but I think in a relationship 60/40 or at least 55/45.

I dont think any woman wants a man who isnt the head of the house or the "protector" in the relationship.

Its like the screwdriver and hammer metaphor, their different but is one better than the other? no but each has its purpose.

Yes, us women SHOULD be held to the same standards because we are all human beings. I can say as a woman that I am tired of all of this gender difference # and women getting the easy part of the deal in certain situations because we're women. I was having a conversation similar to this with my family a while ago but it was about fights. About how just because a man hits a woman, he shouldn't be demoralized for it any more than a woman would be if she assaulted a man or another woman. The whole gender taboo and free rides bull# needs to stop right now. If equality is ever to be reached then it has to be true genuine equality.

I don't believe in hitting women unless they can hit like a man and have you cornered to where you can't move because they are in your face and won't leave your house after the millionth time of asking them to leave.

Even then I don't accept it but ultimately you have to do what you have to do.

So I agree with you. No free rides b/s. But sadly enough people like you and I get lost in the frey.

Because nobody never steps back and ever really thinks or looks at anything for what it is rather then what they want it to be.

I think I'm talking about the whole book rather then a chapter or page. Lets look at the whole spectrum from what we know and judge it for what it is.

If anyone wants to talk about a chapter or page fine. But that's one out 5 or 10.

I just wanna say right now. Women do it all the time when they get on a social networking site and or IM app. After they been cheated on, and emotinally and physically abused.

They then turn down their potential soul mate so they can complain and cry about the same thing 3 weeks to 3 months later. Either about the same dude or a diff dude.

Just so they can turn the right guy down again and repeat the b/s over again.

All the while posting with other women about how b/s men are. Yet it's their inability to see how ignorant they are when it comes to life decisions that puts them in those situations.

So NO not all men are the same.

Example of this:

My soul mates friend judges men by they're plumbing so she married a guy had a kid with him just to find out he was homosexual.

This ignorance is why I'm not with my soul mate because her social circle has no brain. Sorry to say that but it's true. Maybe I should be mad that she is dictated by her circle.

In what reality do you live in? 1950? I know a ton of girls that have their own apartment without a man.

And if they do live with a man they're paying half of the bills.
