Blades can definitely be very deadly. My son and I, along with guns, collect knives. Our favorites are typically Spyderco and Benchmade. But we have many knives of different makes. In my pocket, daily, I carry a Kershaw NeedsWork. A so-so knife for about 70 bucks, it is always sharp enough to shave with. LOL, i use it to open envelopes.

But we keep lots of knives, all very sharp. Swords, too. And I won't even get into the exotic weapons (like the morningstars, cat o nine tails, etc, etc). It is just our hobby.

Take away the Guns and killers will use knives.

Take away the knives, and killers will use clubs

Take away the clubs, and killers will use their bare hands.

Laws don't change a thing.

bingo thats my point, you can demonise an object all day long, but that object will never stand up and go kill something. it is just a tool. if you want to cause mass chaos, or bodily harm to others, you will find a way. that is the one thing i can always count on in humanity. we always find a way to kill.

how is it that China wants the US citezens to be dissarmed in the wake of sandy tragedy but there is so many children being killed in china all the time ,,Often I hear about school slayings in china not to mention there 2 child per family law.So I feel that China has no rite to point fingers. I agree that no1 should own an automatic rifle however for protection I feel that people should be able to own a pistol to keep there family safe. Im sure most would agree

Yes it's on Penn and Teller, but you obviously didn't bother watching it because it was interviews with latino gang members, gun advocates, and victims who all came to the same logical conclusion : Gun laws only take guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens. It does NOTHING to stop criminals, nothing at all. In fact it empowers them to commit heinous crimes.
