Who said that?

Quote it.

Stating a fact for the anti gun crowd who specifically made schools "gun free" and they are not gun free now are they?

Obviously the "no guns allowed" signs weren't worded strongly enough.

Maybe billboards and a PSA campaign would help.

Your side says this all the time. "Cars kill more people, go outlaw cars" etc. etc.

The obvious thing is that when someone kills someone with a car it's an accident.

When someone takes a bagful of guns into a kintergarten and shoots a classfull of kids it's deliberate.

We don't let people with bad eyesight drive cars.

But any nutter can buy as many guns as they want.

Where's the logic?

People will always have access to weapons....Ill bet dimes to doughnuts that common assault is rife in jolly old england, because they dont have the guns right?
The crazy people will always be able to take many others with them if they desire....
What gets me is the seeming similarities, and the increasinly grislyness....
Kindegarten Kids?
This smacks of some co ordinated agenda to my eyes.....its all too phoney and getting far too common....
Adults? meh....
But most everyone has a heart for the little ones.....and this will evoke the most emotional responses as shown in the above posts
I am not buying it.....its just more mind control. IMHO...
The fact that such power is so ruthlessly used makes me angry.....who are these monsters?

Guns aren't the problem, rather it's the way we enforce our gun laws and it's also the gun culture we have in the United States. Canada has lightened gun laws, but their murder homicides by gun yearly amounts to 180 at average. Compared to America's 11,000 it is a large difference. Times that by 10 in terms of population and you end up with 1800, still rather low in comparison.

There are many countries with lightened gun laws where the homicide rate is nowhere close to the US, and then you have countries like the UK and Australia where gun laws are rather strict, and yet theirs are but a tiny fraction in comparison. What's going on here?

I live in one of the strictest states for gun control. You will never see a gun on somebody unless they are a police officer, or a gang banger.

It also has one of the most violent cities.

So no, your point is wrong.

Good God in Heaven!! What on earth is going on over there? Children being massacred at Christmas? Shoppers shot down in Maills? All seems too coincidental and I don't believe in coincidences!

Thank goodness here in England we don't have guns so readily available...we have enough with the nutters with knives.

Truly dreadful story

1.) If teachers were allowed to carry, these shooters would think twice about these kinds of acts.

2.) When or if I ever have kids, this has just completely solidified for me the idea of being home schooled.
