Breaking News - Shooting at Newtown, Connecticut elementary school.

on my facebook feed the local news is also reporting a shooter at an alabama hospital this morning.. killing 3.

I few days ago it was an Oregon mall shooting.. these things seem to be escalating as we approach the "mayan" date so lets step back and look at it from different points of view... Lots of people really do believe in this date whether we want to accept that or not.. I think this will be one nasty week and next weekend is going to be gruesome as well... my prayers for everyone.. keep alert and stay safe..

.....someone switched on the intercom, perhaps saving many lives by letting them hear the chaos in the school office, a teacher said.

The first version had it that it started in the principal's office. Then it was it started in the hallway and the shrink and the principal were shot when they went to investigate(based upon the statement of a parent who was in the office), and now we're back to it starting in the principal's office again. Twenty four hours later, they are still all over the map.

Outlawing guns is what they "want" you to do, and this would be the worst mistake ever if we ever let them.

It could mean the end of America.

has anyone noticed that the Aurora theater shooter,, the Oregon Mall shooter and this shooter all had psychological problems?

And that each events first reports reported more than one shooter?

This is a little hard to articulate here. You remember when the story for awhile was a whole classroom of kids were unaccounted for? What if that was a false meme planted? Because it did disappear from the news after awhile. They might have been trying to float another story about these same kids they would tell you were killed.
If they were killed, they aren't unaccounted for. So two stories floated about the same kids.
Just like there are two stories floated about everything else.

This girl should have heard gunshots, even if they were over the intercom, but she doesn't say she did.
Matter of fact she talks as though the police were there at the same time as the alleged shooter was.
Not that they arrived at some time well after.

NBC’s Pete Williams reported Saturday on the Today Show that Adam Lanza was allegedly involved in an altercation at Sandy Hook Elementary School the day before the shooting.

Attempting to answer the question of why Lanza may have chosen this particular school, Williams stated that it has been confirmed now that Lanza’s mother did not work full-time at the school, despite previous reports.

However, officials told NBC that on Thursday, December 13, Lanza was involved in an “altercation” at the school which involved himself and four other staff members. Of the four, three were murdered in yesterday’s shooting spree and the fourth is currently being interviewed by federal and state investigators.

I think everyone understands this tragedy is going to be exploited politicaly and some (lncluding myself) still are open to the idea it MAY (too early to tell) have been instigated and 'helped along' by people we don't know of yet, as a directed act of terrorism to send a message and to change laws. The latest story I found said they have found 'very good evidence' (whatever that means) on the shooter, and they may have access (conveniently) on his emails and maybe even.....get ready for it....any blog posts. I have a very strong suspicion certain political elements may try and use any (real or otherwise) posts to try and demonize some group or other. DON"T be surprised IF this happens, we've seen it before, these guys rarely seem to let a tragedy go to waste.

The shooting in AZ too was very similar.

There is whole lot of news reports that didn't add up here, and supposedly they were based on reports from law enforcement, like the father's home being taped off before the school shooting occurred, because his son killed him.... the father was never killed.
The mother was a teacher at the school, and was killed at the school by her son..... she wasn't even a teacher there.
Multiple shooters on site..... the 20 year old acted alone.

I'm having trouble swallowing any of the stories in the end.

ETA: Something else, original story was that the shooter was 24 years old and had a child at the school. Did the older brother that was 24 have a child enrolled at the school? Or is this just another false story that the media put out?

Yes, and I would sure hope nobody would do this if there was no mental disorder and perfectly sane. Of course the first reports have discrepancies.....the reports are coming from speculative journalists, not the SWAT and police on location. Just as any high stress situation involving numerous victims there will always be conflicting reports initially until a full investigation has occurred.

What I find silly is that there are so many people already flagging this as disinfo and conspiracy and it has only been one full day since it happened. This was a very horrific scene with none of the first responders having EVER handled a situation like this, and most likely never even prepared for one like this to occur. There will be initial mistakes in the beginning that will get corrected and facts will change as the investigation proceeds. Speculation is not what investigation is based on, but seems to be the only thing conspiracy is based on.

Until they release all the information about the incident post investigation, almost everything, unless stated by an official from the scene, is speculative.

That would certainly explain his motive for going to the school again, but still not for killing the children. If this is true I would guess his mom saw him preparing to go kill them and tried to stop him so he killed her at home then went on to the school to continue the rampage. Why he killed so many small children is beyond my comprehension.

I find the shear numbers of these shootings, and their MOs, highly suspicious as well as their timing. It's like watching WTC7 collapse. Something just kicks you right in the gut.

True enough.
Isn't it pretty far out for the media to 'speculate' that the shooter was 24 year old brother of the actual shooter? How do you think they came up with that idea? I doubt that they were checking his ID (actually his brother's) after the shooting. I would think that info came from law enforcement on scene.
How did they manage to speculate that the father's house was taped off before the school shooting because the son had shot him dead inside? That info would have come from where?

Just my opinion but I find the networks using this tragedy to sell their wares (political and otherwise) par for the course, but pretty low.

Heard the same and it makes sense with them all living in the area. Both Lanza kids going to school there does not seem out of the ordinary to me. Nice community with above average income and they have been there for years according to reports.
