A sad day for human-kind not only in the US but China as well. Forget the gun debate for a minute and see through humane eyes that something is far, far wrong. We as a spieces are changing and not for the best. We are becoming unfeeling when atrocities like this hold our attention for only a short while.
I think of the young girl April Jones from Wales in the UK, murdered a few weeks ago and still her body is not found. Ask someone to recall the incident even though there was maximum TV coverage for hour on hour, day by day...and they cant remember her name.
I have grand-kids, the newest being only 2 days old and I worry for them because they are not born uncaring or without empathy. Its the growing up in this staged society that moulds them. They are sculptured into unfeeling statues of what we once were in my day.
I dont have an answer...does anyone?.. But unless we find a way to bring decency back into our thinking and a real feel for what is right and wrong....I know I will mourn for what we once were..
The vehicle the suspect drove to the school was registered to his mother. Sources told Fox News the guns used in the shooting were owned by and legally registered to Nancy Lanza.

And when you take guns away, hicks and criminals will still buy them illegally. My step father would probably run a few cops down before he gives up his rifle. What does he do with his rifle? He kills squirrels. #ing squirrels. It's not the guns, it's the people holding the guns. There will be just as many criminals with guns when you make guns illegal. They're criminals. What do you think they would do? "I think I'll go kill 20 children today! Oh wait, guns are illegal. Boo hoo." No, they would find a way to obtain their weapons, legal(ly) or not.

The guns were stolen from a legit owner, therefor illegal, and not affected by gun laws in any way or form.
