The United States has 9 gun related deaths per 100,000 people every year. In the UK, where guns are outlawed unless you have a special permit, it is .22 deaths per 100,000 people every year. Dont tell me gun laws dont make a difference. The number of gun related deaths are upwards of 30,000 a year in the U.S

I wasnt going to get sucked into this, but I'll post this and leave it at that. Im not for outright gun bans. But I will never understand why people need assault weapons and semi auto weapons.

Dude. Once again, the UK didn't have an entire society armed to the teeth with an assortment of firearms.
We do.

You really can't compare one semi-ancient, that has always operated under feudalism or socialism country to the USA.
It just doesn't make sense.

Our guns aren't going anywhere, and if we were smart we would allow guns to be carried everywhere. MOst crimes will soon cease to exist.

A new-found sense of respect will open up.

And people will start acting like humans again, knowing that they're going to get shot if they "act a fool".

Then why are you on a website made for conspiracy theorists??? CNN has a great comment section, go flock with those sheep.

This is a classic false flag school shooting. Small town, shooter kills himself, no blood on anyone, same old story.

Watch the full video below, what tears is Obama wiping off his face? Do you see any? (Starts 0:52)

Precisely why they are mocked and not taken seriously.

And anyone who thinks that people don't scheme and manipulate, contrive and plan for the outcome they desire on
such a wicked scale as this ? Is under estimating the evil that men do. And then we still must consider the wicked men.

No, I think you're the one peering thru rosy glasses.

Remember Columbine?

Remember how much blood there was and interviews with people bawling their eyes out?

None of that here.

It's already like that......... These were mom's guns, not his. He could have just as easily gotten one from a king or angel in danbury if he went to the right bar.

If true we might not have stopped this guy but might have stopped or hindered the VA Tech killer. Or other deranged shooters past and future. Why the big problem with attempting to limit access to mentally unstable people?

He could have stolen them from someone else as well, or used a bow or knife, or bomb, or car. Guns do no have a mind to control themselves. Guns do not kill people.
So do you believe that government employees are the only PEOPLE mentally equipped to own guns? I Memphis a few years ago a Shelby County Sherrif woman shot and killed her boyfriend over a jealous fight. You can't take away our right to defend ourselves.

These people lost their children. SMALL children. KILLED. And you are going on about it being staged?

Good Lord people, have a little bit of respect for those who lost their lives and a little bit of a heart.

I've never been so disgusted in my life at what I'm seeing posted here

Can someone fill me in on how questioning the motive and/or reasons to these tragedies is disrespectful to victim's families? Maybe I'm from mars or something because I don't see what this has to do with anything. From 9/11 to the Colorado shooter to today and everything in between. I am soooo fuxing tired of hearing this complaint used over and over when it's nothing more than an emotional outburst using a cookie cutter cliche to validate one's emotional distress.

I'm not trying to be an asshole and I will redirect my thinking if someone can give me a serious unbiased answer. The point is, for some reason, some how, something messed up has happened. Be it society has gone down the sink, be it CIA rats trying to force tighter gun control, be it inept mental health systems passing the buck, be it the god damn devil himself. It makes no freaking difference. It's not disrespectful to anyone when trying to examine the flaws of our way or trying to determine if something more sinister is at play.

Is it because it's too soon to come up with controversial ideas? Is there some kind of time buffer for these sorts of things before we can talk about? Something is dekcuf up, so what is it? But noooo don't say anything other than what we are told because you'll offend someone. Why?

Well, that leaves around 300,000 'crazies' to go spray semi-automatic machine gun fire into kindergartens. And with a 30-round magazine, it makes nearly 10,000,000 possible dead kids. ...provided the loons don't bother to reload or carry other weapons or use explosive devices or...

Seems the Yan'kee education board dropped mathematics from the school curricula in exchange for Gun Play 101.

Exactly,,, well put!!!
Look at how many crimes in the US have been foiled by armed citizens.
It happens every day. I carry a 9mm and do not ever want to use it but you can bet your butt that I will if my family or I are ever in danger or anyone else in danger for that matter.

Well for one, "mentally unstable" would have to be very specific, and not broad and open to misinterpretation like most laws.......

Seen a shrink for depression? Nope, you can't have a gun. ADHD, nope, no gun for you. That just eliminated like 3/4 of the population.

America this is just getting stupid and a line needs to be drawn somwhere, either theres a real problem with the people of America or the gun laws are too loose. Something needs to give, this is just madness now. .

We don't hear about this kind of stuff in any other country, its every other week in America. You can say all you want about guns not killing people, I understand that - but its something to do with the general attitude towards firearms that Americans have that must be something to do with the problem.

Liek I said, somethign needs to give, somethign needs to be tackled and stopped and right now you guys are doing nothing about it and this crap is just constant..

So upsetting. . a #ing elementary school. . wtf is wrong with these people.

If you read the thread without posting first...

www.deccanherald.com...

As you can see. Even if guns were non existent, this same situation can/would occur.
I can't help but get so frustrated when ignorant people continually think that steeper gun laws or outlaw of gun permits will be the remedy to problems like these... I cant think of any man in power who may want the public to think this......

This sick people who are doing/being made to do these things will not care if it is legal or not?

GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEADS AMERICA!

And why would people who were not in the classroom have blood on them, exactly?

And I counted at least 3 crying mothers, 1 teacher and a reporter all balling their eyes out just in the past 10 minutes. Footage was from just after the incident. In fact, cry babies on Facebook forced NBC news in Los Angeles to remove a photo of a crying mother. Ridiculous, really.

The guns are the problem, the guns are the problem. Are you capable of any critical thinking? Why is this occurring now, what the reasons they are doing this......but as to guns, do you think banning will eliminate guns? What do you think should happen to those who currently own guns?

Go look at pictures of the school, completely isolated surrounded by trees. Look at the kids being led out of the school by FBI, happy and smiling. Look at the 3rd grader who got interviewed by CNN. Completely calm, smiling and even laughs at the end. 27 PEOPLE JUST GOT MASSACRED. Where is the blood?

Columbine 2012, Obama even tears up just like Clinton did.

FAKE

You should be banned. Insensitive ignorant blabber.....

I have been following this site for some time and have never been compelled to make an account. I enjoy reading the alternative views people present. I feel it gives me insight. However,

Today, I felt compelled to comment. I am a lifelong Connecticut citizen. The town is real. The people are real. People in my life are affected my this tragedy. The scary part to me? Is that I do believe there is a lot more than we know going on here and we'll never know. Just like we didn't know with Colorado theater shooting.

But here are the facts. The shooter was 20. He grew up in that town. He shot his mom in the face. He went and killed 20 innocent, beautiful children, teachers, a principle and a guidance counselor.

I would never deny these are the facts, and I'm deeply offended by those who do. But we will NEVER know motive. This could have very well happened in any town in CT or, for that matter, New England. The assumed shooter may not have been acting "in control of himself"

But the bottom line is - the town is a victim. The whole town. Because they aren't "in on it." They lost 20 children. Gone. I live in CT. This will be covered for weeks. And this is not a "fake place." So much is going to come out about the victims, all who have roots in this state. I'm not "in on it", but I know people directly affected.

Now, does part of me believe it is a false flag event? Ya. But it didn't NOT happen. Please. That is just ridiculous.

And honestly, while I'm at it. The entire tragedy is being politicized SO fast. GUN CONTROL GUN CONTROL GUN LAWS GUN VIOLENCE. Too soon. Real people lost their REAL children. This didn't even happen 12 hours ago.

A kid in the back ground of a camera making faces means we have a hoax? When I was 6, my grandmother died. It was hard to comprehend, and when I told people, I would smile and laugh - even though I was devastated. THESE ARE CHILDREN. There is a reason young kids don't make good witnesses in a trial.

I guess that is all I have to say about that. G

Hey G, thanks for posting that, I'm about a 1000+ miles from ya, I wasn't there, so obviously I have to get the story from a distance, like most events you have to understand nowdays people have to determine IF something even actually HAPPENED first before they can decide 'how' it might have happened. That may seem rather sceptical but as I've said, so much smoke and mirrors and stagecraft nowdays, it's getting harder and harder to tell the 'natural' from the 'synthetic', people have been predicting these senseless shootings would increase to be used for political fodder and it DOES seem right on cue. It makes one wonder.

And you are basing your equation on an assumption that legal gun owners wish to murder and pillage. A very poor assumption.
