It's like fish in a barrel in a classroom. Only one way out, probably where the shooter stood.

The choice of weapon isn't affected by the laws set in place. Do you really think if there were stricter gun laws, or even if they banned guns, that would prevent a guy like this from going on a rampage??

Absolutely not. He could go to the black market, buy a weapon nearly as easily as buying drugs, and then go shoot people. Guns are here already & there's not going anywhere. The government intervening cannot quell the blood-lust of every random psycho in a world with 7 billion people. Period.

Maybe this guy, in his twisted mind, was simply jealous of all the attention his mother gave the children at school....I mean, assuming the report of all this killing is true, this sick individual really had some rage inside.

What you just said shows you know nothing of weapons or much else. It would be quite easy for a person with a Machete to kill many more than that in twenty minutes. You should talk to a Jamaican cutting sugar cane all day and ask him how many 7 year old kids or defenseless adult he could chop down in 20 minutes, not for real but just, what if.

You know nothing of what you speak, as I said.

I am of rank in hand to hand combat, I specialize in multiple opponents, in real combat have stood off 7 opponents at once, of course they were not trained just bikers, but they were all on the ground and did not want to play anymore.

I also train in kendo sword fighting, with a sword I could easily take down 2 or 3 at a time, so it is clearly easy to see you are all talk when come to this matter.

Newtown is not all that big, only around 2000 people. It's not really that far fetched.

If I had to guess, I would say it had more to do with how he did it as opposed to him being an excellent marksman. Sadly, we heard the rumors circulating on here how he did it execution style to that one class, which I hate to even think about, but if you think about it, that's probably what happened with only one injured. He more than likely took those in the office by surprise, then marched into the classrooms and did the unthinkable. It makes me sick to my stomach to even think about. I pray for the victims and their loved ones.

When there is a problem, a disease or an injury, you must fix the problem and not the symptom. Guns, bombs, etc. are part of the symptom of the problem. The problem is the general loss of respect and humanity in the people who do such things. It is the society we have allowed. And by allowed, I mean how we raise (or don't raise) our children, what we allow them to watch, the lessons we do or don't teach them...and of course...the time we do or don't have for them.

It is the labeling of people (ugly, fat, gay, etc.), it is the social networking instead of playing, the being indoors instead of outdoors and the total lack of respect for others. Love is gone, or never was. God is gone (and I'm not religious). We don't teach love, worth and respect...we teach, or allow other "things" to teach "me, me, me". We give children a cell phone and walk away not even caring what happens next...as long as they smile and leave us alone. We have two parents working hard...and no one to parent.

And yet...we are surprised, shocked and offended. This is what we, as a society have built. This is our legacy. We are a nation if not a world of takers...whores...the "me" generation. It is truly a shame and I "pray" for everyone hurt or killed in this incident. I'm horrified, but not surprised. And THAT is horrible in itself.

While I would never hope for an apocalypse that knocks us back to the "stone age"...I'm not so sure it would be such a bad thing. Sometimes you have to reboot (or reformat) a computer.

Facts have changed because it is an ongoing situation. But there is zero evidence that this is any kind of conspiracy. To insinuate that because there havent been blood or guts shown its a conspiracy is ignorance. And the motto of the site is to deny ignorance.

How big is Sandy Hook compared to Newtown?

Because if there is only 2,000 people, how come there were 700 kids at this one elementary school alone and there is another one 1.3 miles away, too.

I would say what is wrong with you. There is nothing wrong with what he said, concentrate on the reason why this is happening, not the how. If you want to kill people there is nothing anyone can do, perhaps make it harder, but you won't be able to eliminate it.

Banning, making illegal are poor attempts of control - it won't stop the acts from occuring. Finding out why something occurs, and prevent that - now you are looking at something that will change things.

Just because the media speculated, did not make ANY of the rumors fact. As the day went on, facts came to light. And honestly, it all makes sense. The guy went into a classroom, blocking the only exit, and went to town with a semi automatic rifle. How hard is it to believe he executed 20 kids? Not very.

People that see a conspiracy in EVERYTHING are just as unstable as our buddy the shooter.

Apparently this screenshot comes from the Facebook of the brother of the shooter and if you read the caption, the MSM has been using this guy's picture as the shooter.
