Was Aurora terrible...hell yes, but way different. I feel its way way easier to shoot randomly into a crowd and run away. Its nowhere near as personal and up close. In fact, almost all mass shootings have that trait in common, not this one though.

This kid perhaps EXECUTED like....little girls dressed in dresses and carrying a Barbie for crisake. I say it is just not possible for anyone...no matter what mental state they are in...to execute 20 six year olds without some serious mind control or drugs.

Its weird to say that one of my issues is that its TOO barbaric and unprecedented, but I can't help but entertain the thought.

Thoughts? Should I close the laptop for the day lol?

stalin starved some 30,000,000 Ukrainians to death in their own houses. that included small children and babies, teens, adults, old people, men women children gays straight various religious bents. just starved enmasse. took about 12 months total to starve the entire "country" of Ukraine.

pol pot killed children if they looked defective, or his estimation of defective. he also killed men, women, gays, straight, various religious bents.

hitler killed children if they were certain types of jews, gypsies, gays, handicap or certain forms of christianity (he killed protestants and kept the catholics).

i think there are plenty of examples. i don't consider their examples to be exempt from consideration because, unless they are aliens or reptilians or something, they are humans and part of the public like the rest of us. so their mass murders also count.

please stop with all of those 'comspiracy theories' (sarcasm if you can't tell) if anyone of those were true, I'm sure Glenn Beck or Rush, or O'Reilly, or maybe Geraldo even would have infomed me.

I humbly disagree with the examples you provided. Apples and oranges my friend.

Your situations involve war scenarios. Many people murdering, perhaps in a frenzy. Also, leaders are far detached when they are "starving children".

Please explain how a middle class 20 year old kid, not in a war zone or following military orders, has anything in common with anyone you mentioned? Nothing at all.

thought i would just throw this out there, but Westboro Church is going to protest at the funerals of children saying that God gunned them down because of the legalization of gay marriage. I think a counter protest of a blockage of some kind is needed. Haven't these parents suffered enough

What I want to bring to light is that the mother was most likely a former kindergarten teacher. Shooter went and took out her class.

My guess is if Adam had autism or asbergers syndrome like they are saying he did.. it's possible that he was set on something that we will never know the why of it.. This thread is going fast, but I wanted to let you know, from experience, it is possible to have both. I have a daughter who has autism and MR with MI. Because she's also missing part of her brain, her IQ places her mental retardation at 55. Her physical age is 17 but her mental age is 5-7 years old. She also has MI. There are times when she is in La La world, as we call it. She has imaginary friends, though they are finally starting to disappear, she lives in a Disneyland Castle, wish we all did, and no one hurts anyone because we are all friends. Again. Something to aspire to.

Since living in her Autism house from July to present, she no longer has anger issues. She doesn't attack people on a whim. She has a calm zone that she goes to when she gets upset. Sometimes she forgets and she'll hit, but we all make mistakes. We're human. Mistakes are for learning. But I'm very proud of her because she's come very, very far and she's doing awesome. But you can have both autism and MI. It can be worked with though.

God bless you honey she sounds like she has an amazing mom I'm not as well versed in spectrum disorders so thank you for letting me know that it is possible to have both.. much love!

Investigators said they believe Adam Lanza attended Sandy Hook Elementary many years ago, but they had no explanation for why he went there on Friday.

She was not a teacher at that school, if she was a teacher.

there's no doubt that jesus wasn't thrilled with homosexuality, but he also wasn't thrilled with eating more than you need, (gluttony), premarital or extra marital sex, and etc the premise being that your body is the temple of god, so's ya need to take care of it. people blow the whole gay thing way out of proportion by appealing to old testament law, half of which written by moses, who never claimed to be a god in the first place.

These shooting always seem to have more questions then a m night shyamalan movie.

Well there's another plot hole. So either the media tried to hype up the emotional impact or this was not found out until after the media put the reports out.

The way she says "she was obviously a kindergarten teacher", I think she was going by the media driven misinformation reported in the beginning about the mother being dead in the classroom. I could be wrong of course. She was not a teacher at that particular school though.
