Yep. 2 of 'em. App shows another one, 4.1, about 10 minutes ago.


I was up for all 3, SoCal, but didn't feel it...neither did the snoring Labrador.

I wonder if the quakes down along the Central American coast yesterday added to the punch of these? I mean, it's all one plate, movement in one area must translate to influencing nearby areas (frankly, I think it all interacts internally like currents in the ocean, but I digress) I'd eyeballed them & wondered if they'd spark another further up the Pacific coast, but I figured they were just Champerico 'quake aftershocks that wouldn't travel much further.

Okay, the sky is falling arguments are interesting..as evidenced by your intro thread...but I think folks need a bit more than the mere claim that a comet is coming. We've been down this road before, some of us, and this doesn't compute. Not even a little bit. Not even a pinch.

Unless this is a warp speed comet, it should be so close we can see detail of it with the naked eye by now. 7 days away.....that's ON TOP of us in cosmic terms....unless, again, it's a bullet comet. Err.. yeah... or something.
