An Assassinations Forum?

Just a quick suggestion, or queerly but why does ATS not have a “Assassinations ” forum and would the mod’s ever conceder creating one.

I am sure we could all think of assassinations that warrant threads, they often feature in the news even the MSN I think such a forum would be popular.

Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place, it’s just a suggestion.

I suspect that sub-forums are actually created on the basis of "We're gettting a very large number of threads on this topic, we'd better find a new place for them". As obviously happened with "Deepwater".
I doubt if Admin are going to put up a new forum as long as there aren't any threads to go in it.

I think it's a great idea but I'm sure it would get shot down quickly.

I also think there aren't enough assassinations to warrant a seperate forum so they probably fit in "General Conspiracies" or "Breaking News".

I am no so sure that you are correct in you assertion that there are not enough assassinations to warrant a thread. There have been two very high profile assassinations in the last little while, just in the UK. One being the death of Alexander Litvinenko, the Russian defector, and possible triple agent, and the other being the death of GCHQ operative Gareth Williams. He was found inside a large sports bag, in the bath tub of his flat in London.

One must assume that there are examples of such things that happen else where in the world, and therefore it is likely that there would be enough potential in the subject to warrant a dedicated forum of discussion.
