As for the fire last week, it fits with terrorism taking hold in South America.
Honduras has also become a training haven for terrorist.

Thanks for the link on Munroe.

It now seems to be "You stay out fullstop. We will do what we like"

I had missed most of the news on that coup attempt. I knew there were some civil disturbances.

Dont you love the power of politicians to play factions off against each other. Together they could vote or remove arses but the politicians know which buttons to push. Even here.

Still I find the allegations circumstantial and heresay at least.

I would need to SEE US troops in the streets, or the USA recognising the coup leaders to buy it.

Regardless of thier affiliations, media manipulates.

South America always had their own kind of terrorism links to the drug business they also had drug wars.

Now if the US seems fair to link these guerrillas fights and drug wars to terrorism to make it better to his own agenda, well guess what US "suppousely" has been fighting them for decades and with not results.

I bet now that "venezuela" is involve in the "terrorism" US is going to fight even more, what a joke.

Read the report by the US government for more information on it.

state.gov:
A Review of U.S. Policy Toward Venezuela November 2001 - April 2002

They admit to knowing about the plot and admit to funding groups involved with it but they say they told the people they would not support it.
I don't know how seriously they thought they would be taken when they continued to provide funding even after being told what they would do.

There is no mention of involvement by US troops in that document, only information on funding.

You mean you need to see US troops on the streets supporting a coup?
That's not how it works. You will never see US troops on the streets supporting a coup d'etat.

This is a good site to get info on this subject:

www.wordiq.com...

or you could just go into google and type 'us coup'.

When your own democratic government engage in fraudulent deals it make you think who really are the terrorist in this world.

US is fighting terrorism but it funds group to terrorist too.?

exactly right, marg.

Invades countries to create democracies while actively trying to destabilise democratic countries.

Fights a war on terrorism while actively supporting terrorist groups.

Castigates countries for their human rights records while ignoring those of it's trading partners.

Supports oppression in Palestine and opposes it everywhere else.

Opposes the proliferation of nuclear weapons and continues to research new nuclear weapons itself.

Can anyone say 'hypocrisy'?

But, this thread is about the venezuelan terrorists. So, do they exist?

Well, US tried to portray chavez as a dictator in the making and that he was going to repress his people, but it back fire when the people of Venezuela the regular people remember the years of real opression before during 1958 and 1998.

See just like US got his intelligence faulty from Iraq through the ones that wanted Sadam out of power, it was getting his inside information from the rich venezuelan elite here in the US, not from the regular citizen.

Venezuela has not links to any terrorist groups.
